I was just chased three times out of my back yard by the same bee. At first I thought the bee was walking on my shirt and buzzing around my face as I was laying on my lounge chair because my shirt was neon yellow. Then I changed it to black, went outside again, the bee chased me all around the back yard and I went inside. I did some chores, a half an hour later went outside again and the bee was there around my lounge chair and chased me again inside the house. I've never had this happened before. I didnt want to squish the bee or spray it, so I trust the bee has a reason to not let me be outside today. It's quite hot by the way.

Hi LightBeam.  :-)

I believe you. I am exhausted, and have been facing some incredibly upsetting behaviors within my self- with cost that pain the heart.

Today, after work, I found a personal totem of mine equally exhausted and near death on the ground by my car. A red wasp.

The wasp has always spoken to me. And I believe the bee is speaking to you. I believe it may even be a way to highlight something about your self, though it might not be so clear at the present moment.

I have come to learn the wasp as a power symbol for words. I always ask my self whether or not I am to be cautious with my words and hone self awareness when this friend finds its way into my life.

What does a bee mean to you? I think the bee translates to fertility in some cultures. They're also great team players and know how to extract the sweetness found in life.

Thanks, Tides! To me bees are essential part of nature and without them the ecosystem will be severely disrupt. I LOVE honey and every time I eat it I thank the bees. I think they are absolutely intelligent and warm, caring and selfless.
On the other hand I know that they sting and when I was a child I had a phobia of bees and wasps to a point where I was refusing to go out of the house in the summer. My mom was so concerned that she took me to the village's medicine woman. Let me clarify, in my country every town and village has these older women who mix herbs, collect nature things, make substances, remove negative energy, chant over sick people, etc, basically something like a witch haha, but what they do is always effective. So my mom took me to that old woman. I must have been 5 or 6 years old. I recall I was sitting on a small hand made wooden chair in her back yard under a huge tree. As I am typing, the whole experience is really surfacing as I am experiencing it now. So she sat me down and started weaving a red wool thread around the index finger on my right hand. As she was weaving it around my finger she was mumbling something but I could not make the words. It was like some kind of incantation. Then she started undoing the thread in the opposite direction until it fell off my finger still whispering these strange words. After this "session" I was able to go outside without this extreme fear and gradually the phobia disappeared, however to this day I am still on edge when I see bees and wasps around me and I run when they get closer. I think I need to resurrect this childhood fear because it may not be completely resolved and understand where did it come from so whatever blocks may be still causing me in the present can be removed. I will initiate questions before going to sleep to see if anything would transpire in my dreams.
