Tym, sounds like a projection to me, but I am a newbie. I have gotten stuck to a wall before too, just couldn't figure out how to move, also I am not always able to open my eyes during these things, so those to aspects of your experience, I can definitely tell you happen when you project. I guess you have to build up skills, like how to move properly and how to see clearly in the astral over a period of time.

Good luck,
Amber

yea i think I've had the full blown 3d experience before once - it was weird, because this was flat but that was just like, i knew it was definitely an OBE/Astral projection - i hope to have more in the future, and i look forward to more meditation :)

I may have astral projected before, but I think this time it really happened (that's for you all to help me out with).  I laid down as i usually do and started meditating, but it wasn't the usual type with lots of imagery.  I just felt myself moving steadily and flowing to the left - it was like i was on a raft and the first part was in rough water and the second part was in a calm river - i started moving all over the place, and i just let the flowing feeling go and eventually imagery took over and i actually visioned myself on a raft in a large body of water looking at the sky.  Sometimes i would go too far and get white pulsing light from my third eye, but i've learned to back off when i get there and not try so hard.  At some point, I think I felt my physical and higher bodies at the same time, but only for a few second.  I let myself go until I got to having pains on my head, until the point when it started hurting a little bit and felt a little disoriented.  At this point, I took the advice of a close friend to get past - i pushed.  It was mental for the most part, i believe, but i did feel some twitching/shaking.  I also went through something white, perhaps a doorway of sorts?  I heard a low noise, it wasn't a loud pop like Bruce describes but very soft and quick.  I sat there for a while and had a difficult time doing anything - I think i was there the other night and didn't get past it.  Eventually, I started drifting to the left of my room and the wall wasn't there and i entered the next bedroom.  I never opened my eyes or anything during the transition, and everything looked a little gray.  The features in the other room didn't look quite right, and i was able to re-focus or re-arrange it so the door was where it should be.  At this point, I entered a hallway tiled like the entrance in my house leading down..well...a hallway that wasn't that one.  I seemed to be stuck to the wall and couldn't move, so if it was a gateway into higher astral worlds i wasn't ready to go through.  I felt myself drift high above the tiling, and it looked as though I were back in my house on the high ceiling above the hallway.  This is when it ended...what do you all think, assuming you read the whole thing?
