Try opening all your chakaras. To do this lay down on a flat surface and visulizing your chakaras turning counterclockwise. Now make them slow down and start turning clockwise. This opens them. Now release all the energy in all your chakaras. This should unblock any energy that was there. You are probably right it is a chakara blockage.

The direction counterclockwise is when we see the chakra's moving from the back or from the front?

Do we have to work upon all the chakra's at the same time or one by one?

El_Morbidus

Counterclockwise applies to a frontal counterclockwise movement. Two-way chakras (all except the first and the seventh) are typically manipulated from the front with energy leaving them through the back side.

As a side note, I realized part of my problem is not grounding after raising energy. That would have loosened some of my tension, but I still need to fix the chakra.

vikram88

You mean if we see our frontal body the chakra's should be moving in the counterclockwise direction and energy leaving from the back and now we have to make them move clockwise and then should the energy also start coming out from the front?

Clow

You can work on one chakara at a time and for visualization. While laying down picture yourself above your body looking down and that would be your counterclockwise.

try screaming, or singing loudly.  alternatively, foster good communication with those around you.  if you are going to scream, try not to scream your throat raw.  the objective is to get most noise out.

The direction the chakra is spinning in is VERY important, but equally important is what direction they should be spinning in FOR YOU!

There are no hard and fast rules here. The correct direction of spin can depend on gender, hemisphere, all sorts of things. I have read many different articles on this, some that say they should all spin in the same direction - clockwise for men counter-clockwise for women, and I have read other articles that say they alternate from one chakra to the other.

All of the authors are supposedly "experts" in this area, so who do you believe? The best thing you can do if you want to continue working with chakras is use your own experience and learn how your chakras spin when they are healthy. Dont try to force all of them in one direction at one time. This could do you more harm than good. Take them one at a time.

When I encountered a similar problem - my heart chakra was blocked, I used a pendulum to detect the correct spin on a lower chakra that I knew to be open and working properly.

Yes the good old pendulum. Been a lot of talk about it lately, but this is an old use of it, and very valuable when testing the chakras.
I use my amethyst crystal pendant for this. It knows me and works well as a pendulum.

Lie on your back and hold the pendulum close to the body over a good open chakra. If you can get someone else to hold the pendulum and watch the direction it does help, otherwised raise your head enough to see whats happening for the lower chakras, and for the throat and brow, well, look as best you can.

The pendulum should start rotating in the direction the chakra is rotating. This should be a good even circular motion if all is well with the chakra. If not you will get either no movement, a flattened out elliptical movement, or just swinging from side to side, or moving in the wrong direction. Each of these indicate a level of problem with the chakra.

It is important that you do this for at least two or three good working chakras to help build guidelines for how they spin. For me they alternate in direction, starting clockwise for the base, then counter-clockwise for the sacral, clockwise for the solar-plexus, and so on. This is my normal healthy pattern of chakra rotation. I know this to be true for my body, so that is how I work with my chakras, and it has proven to be very successful.

For this reason I won't try and tell you how your chakras should spin, just encourage you to find out for yourself, and build that as a guideline for your own future energy work.

I found one site that wa faily informative that you might want to look at. Just bear in mind that like I said before, different authors have a different take on the subject:

Hope this helps,
James.

What should we keep as the bob of the pendulum?

It the pendulum starts spinning in a direction then how do we know that it is showing the right or the wrong direction?

Does the bob start rotating in a direction or does in start swinging.

Clow

Psi is not one of my strong points so I may have to be corrected but the bob should just be a light object of somesort. I beleive the bob spins/ rotates I think.

How much heigh should the pendulum be kept?

Clow, Are you a fan of Cardcaptor Sakura?

Clow, have you ever seen a spirit with your Auric Vision?

Vikram,

Your choice for a bob. Use your feelings to guide you. Similar to choosing a personal crystal, you will find something that feels right for you. I use my crystal pendant which is an amethyst crystal about an inch long on a leather cord. It seems to get enough motion for the job. I wouldn't suggest anything much heavier than a crystal as you will find the movement sluggish.

Intuition is needed a fair bit here. To know if the pendulum is spinning correctly you need to first know that you have one or preferably two chakras that feel like they are open and have energy flowing through them really well. I have read info that suggests divining this information through a guide. Your choice there. I tested using a known good working chakra - I knew I was getting good energy flow to a point, so I tested the chakras to that point.
Something that you mentioned before about changing the direction, the spin of the chakras can be controlled by thought, and if you will the chakra to change direction you can see the pendulum follow that change. This way you can see the direction of the chakras spin, and feel for the energy flow at the same time. When I did this with my heart chakra, I was surprised by an almost instant improvement in the energy flow. I knew straight away when I got it right. Even if you've done only a bit of energy work, you should still be able to feel the differences in energy flow.

If all is well with the chakra the bob will start rotating in smooth circles that get larger and faster depending on how much energy is flowing through the chakra. If it starts swinging at all, this typically means the chackra has a blockage of some kind.

As to how close, I found within a few inches of my body was fine.

All the best,
James.

Hi Folks

WOW, loads of great info on this subject, right here.  Can I say, having a trusted person douse your chakras is an excellent place to start, it will give the indications of how the energy is flowing in you.  One excellent source book for deciphering the flow that is shown by the pendulum is "Hands of Light", unfortunately, I have forgotten the author's name. Pffft.

As previously suggested by other members, you can open and work on the chakras yourself, as a visualization technique in or out of meditation.  Chakras usually fluctuate with our moods and mind set, so there are lots of variations. A healthy chakra spins in a clear circle up to about six inches in diameter, as shown by a pendulum.

If it is spinning counter-clockwise, it usually indicates that at some level you are working on some aspect of your self, even if you aren't aware of it.  This can also apply to most of the other variations too, but don't take my word for it, try it for yourself.

A friend showed me a simple method for grounding and I would love to share it here.  Stand outside in the sun with bare feet on the Earth, and stretch your arms up above you.  Slowly bring them down in a wide arc while breathing in through your nose. Bring your hands in to your side as you finish inhaling.  Then reach down to the Earth and imagine bringing energy up from below the ground as you again breath in your nose.  Bring your hands up to your sides while breathing.  repeat this 3 or 4 times. You will feel as if you are standing half inside the ground, while also feeling very tall.  This not only grounds you, it also balances you.  Don't forget to thank the creator for the gift when you have finished.

Love always.

Hi Tayesin,

The grounding method you described is just wonderful, isn't it? First time I tried it I think I got a little carried away. The energy flow nearly knocked me off my feet! Now I either sit or find a tree to lean my back against.[:)]

Kind regards,
James.

vikram88

About the Grounding technique, I did not get the end position for inhaling and what to do at exhale?

Can you please explain the grounding method again, step-by-step.

Last October I got my Level 2 Reiki attunement. As a result of that, my Kundalini started raging (I haven't worked on it before, but people diagnosed my symptoms as Kundalini overload) and my throat felt cold, dry and irritated for several weeks. In that time I stopped all energy work and all symptoms vanished quickly. I started meditating, raising energy and doing chi kung exercises about a month ago and, as a result, my throat symptoms returned. Thankfully, not as bad as before.

I think there may be an energy blockage in my throat chakra. How could I work on it?
