im sure it says that it CAN hurt badly and not that it will hurt.
the pain is not the goal. i went trhrough it without much of footpain.

make sure that you do dont go to fast over the feet. i think it says that you should let the hands and feet take its time.

pain is not the goal. awarenes is what to strive for. nothing is wrong with you from my point of view.

As mentioned pain is not the goal. You are striving for awareness and it sounds like you are on track. The tickling feeling is what you should be feeling. Pain means that a certain area is blocked or not very well developed. Take your time and keep working with it. Hopefully you will not expereince any pain.
Alice had got so much into the way of expecting nothing but out-of-the-way things to happen, that it seemed quite dull and stupid for life to go on in the common way.

The less blocks you have in your energy system the less sensation you'll have when practising NEW.

If you do get serious pain at some point, take a break and ease up on the intensity of your practise with regard to the problem area until the blocks clear.
