Darkangel13 I have been wondering about the same thing, I have not yet experienced a OOBE but I will try this stuff out since one cannot be harmed while projecting.

Quiet_Storm

that is a freaking good idea. Althought I would be scared to project into the sun. isnt the sun massive energy?

also in the waters.... hopefully the pressure wouldnt do anything right?

dino333

When I can successfully project into real-time I will try the ocean

darkangel13

awesome! i'd be scared to fly straight into the sun too, Quiet_Storm...i mean, there have to be some things that can harm the astral body...chances are it isn't quite indestructable....but what are those things?

Stealth Fist

That's also a very good question darkangel13. When I get in contact with my spirit guide I will ask.

PS. I suggest you get into contact with you're spirit guide also.

When I was in Cairns (Australia) in 2000, we had a room that was very close to the ocean (pretty much across the street).  I was out flying around, and I went into the ocean, I was flying through the water, just as I do through the air, and noticed no difference whatsoever.  I didn't do much while in the water though, I opted to shoot straight up into the sky.  I prefer flying through space more then on Earth.  [^]

So yeah, water is very Eazy, but I have never, ever thought of going to the sun.  Probably would just be a big bright light, I don't think it would harm you at all.

Hello Darkangel
I have gone into the ocean while AP'ing I'm not sure if it was this world or not. But it was a very long oobe flying around above the coast line mostly but when I went into the water I felt enclosed like I had a body but befor that I just "was"...consciousness. The water was very interesting as the sun filtered down although shallow around 10 foot under I just floated above the bottom looking around at the sea weed. After a short while I preceived a presence coming towards me so I left the water and flew some more above it then blackout.
It was a great filling and hope to do it again soon [:)]
Take care

so, did it feel the same as flying in the air for you, or different?

When I flew in, I thought I was going to slow down a lot.  I was suprised that it felt no diferen't, and was the same as the air (for me).

Faceless

A similar question I have is about flying into a black hole, the gravity is so immense that it stops time so maybe this will have some sort of effect on the astral body?

Tao

Faceless there are many topics on AP in a black hole..
I`ve done a search for you (hope this helps):

I did not go into the ocean but I did go into a swimming pool.  I could definatly feel the differance between flying in air and in the water.  When I got into the water I thought about breathing and I breathed in and my lungs filled with water.  It really didnt effect me but I felt like my lungs filled with cool water.  I really didnt need to breath but it was a cool experience.

I have tried several experiments.  I tried to go into the television kinda like the viritual reality projection but I didnt have a good experience with that one.

i was just struck with curiosity at the thought of flying into the sun or down into the ocean...what would happen if you flew straight into the sun? would there be brightness all around you? would something happen from the immense heat? and with the ocean, that would be amazing! there'd be no need to breathe, so we could explore the depths of it without running out of air! would we even notice the density of the surrounding waters?...if ur interested, could someone check these things out? i'm not experienced enough, hehe, not yet[:P]
