thats great, Xehupatl!

im just a starting member, but i think one thing that i can do is meditate.  in my opinion, i would try to make it so you can get that feeling for a longer time, and be able to do it quickly.  i have been doing this for a month and i can do it in half a minute. then, if you're planning to do other energy work, you can get it done.  but i'm just a starting member, so donn't take this too seriously.

Starting member or not, If you have advise or personal input, and you truely mean well, with what you say, then it should matter not, with how long you've been around. Even established members had to start somewhere, and we're considered new at some point. If you say things and mean it, then thats credit enough that is due, to you.
If someone has the knowledge, and wants to do something, how far do you think they can go, if they lack the experience, and are unable to sustain the amount of effort needed to succeed?  ~ Self 2/25/2003

Very rightly said Tarconiss. It not the no. of posts that matters but quantity of experience. An experienced person may become recently aware of this site and become a Starting member. This does not mean that his experience has also started at that time. Thus credit is upon experience and not on any other criteria.

I used to think that when I lay down on the bed and let my body relax it was as relaxed as it could be - boy was I wrong!

Total Physical relaxation is really a "you just 'know' when it happens" - experience.

I used to think that I'm a very patient person, but I'm not. I cannot concentrate for more than a few seconds, and when, for example, an energy technique calls for sitting still for only 5 minutes concentrating on something, I lose all interest after 30 seconds and just give it up. Hey maybe I've got ADD!

So I lie down on the bed and do NOTHING. I may try a few relaxation exercises, relaxing my body from head to toe, but I know myself and after at most a minute my thoughts are again everywhere else but relaxation. Then after 10 minutes or more of just lying there, it hit me - NOTHING. It's a dramatic shift - suddenly I can't feel anything anymore. My body is gone. It's WONDERFUL! Even my mind is suddenly totally blank. It's like floating gently in a black void.

All I can think of right now is - "Oh, so this is what relaxation feels like!"

I feel disconected, like I could just float up and away, but I don't do it - I'm enjoying this too much.

After a few seconds, I can feel my body again, my breathing, my heartbeat, where the mattress presses against me.

All I have to say is: [8D]
and when the day arrives
i'll become the sky
and i'll become the sea

and the sea will come to kiss me
for i am going
home

nothing can stop me now
