Master of ki: I do not pretend to be a Ki master, so instead of telling you my ignorant Ki-Ball making methods, I recomend you try some of the Ki sites that people have posted about. Check out the topic "Favorite Ki Sites".

First off, shadowraider: I'm not attacking you here, but perhaps if you spend a few extra seconds on spelling and grammer, your messages would be better understood by all...Second, could someone please tell me exactly what a Tan Tien is and third, I am mystified about how you can post a message that you are new to Ki and would like to hear success stories one day, and the next be explaining the best way to create them to another.

And finally to everyone, I have been reading a lot of the messages posted here in Energy development, and am becoming amazed with the number of people who apparently believe that everything works just like this TV show "Dragon Ball Z." Come on people, be realistic.

SSGR, perhaps you have noticed that not everyone on this site is trustworthy. In fact some people lie about their skills and abilities. I cant really explain why anyone would want to do that, but then, I have a rather small ego. shadowradier lied a lot over the last couple of days, and either he will be banned, or he will wise up. I reallly hope he wises up. A guy just like him was banned a couple of weeks ago, and I felt kind of sorry for him. Victim of his own ego.

Now, back to the current subject:

The Tan-Tien is the center of your energy or ki, it is located around your belly button, in the center of your body. All you life force, or ki, comes from there. It flows through your body and out the soles of your feet and your palms. Quite basically, to create a ki ball you need to visualize your ki flowing from your Tan-Tien to your hands, and into a ball shape. Hold your hands like your cupping water. Keep Trying! eventually the Ki will form a invisible ball there. Sometimes its even visible! you might feel a burning freezing or tingling on your hands on a succesesful attempt. Also, DBZ is a show that is about a race of people (saiyans) who have mastered the art of Ki. Everything they do there is possible, except that humans would have to have several lifetimes of training to accomplish anything resembling Gokus or others power.

-Shadowatcher, I am very aware of our bodies prime energy centers, and energy exchange ports as I have been performing Reiki for some time now....I had just not heard the term "Tan-Tien" before. Thanks for the clarification. As far as your assertion that EVERYTHING performed on that show being possible....well lets just say that after one episode and a few microbes of common sense that idea became preposterous.

Along other lines I was wondering if there are any others here who are proficient in Reiki, and would be willing to discuss percieved differences between a 1st and 3rd level practicioner.

-Shadowatcher, well since I am not a great follower of the show my list will probably be shorter than it should be......but lets see from my reading on these forum sites and keeping in mind that in order to be human one has certain lifespan limitations....the destruction of a planet comes to mind.......

I had thought this forum was for serious discussion and rational thought on Energy and Metaphysics. Any real reference to "DBZ" puts that assumption to shame(in my humble opinion).

Obviously none of the things in DBZ will ever happen, but they could. We are only really scratching the surface of energy developement. There are millions of techniques humans have yet to master. Blowing up a planet seems impossible, but Ive seen someone make a Genki Dama as big as a truck! There are people who once lived who were very powerful in their control of KI. Maybe not many of them who are alive now, but what can you do. There will never be a HUMAN capable of destroying planets, but maybe a different race can. You need to open your mind. I dont believe everything in DBZ Either. But it does have its heart in the right place. You shouldnt ridicule others. As you admitted yourself, your not a follower of the show. I dont think you should ridicule anyone without first seeing what your ridiculing.

As I always say Everything is possible. There are not limits. You can very well explode a planet. But to get to that stage it would take you dacades of intense training and dedication. But if such an aim is kept you won't be able to learn anything.

So just remember everything is possible. It'd just the difficulty level.
