Great! I can pay thousands of dollars to live in a hole for months then come out and see nothing but rubble from buildings, broken roads, no food, poisoned water, and wait for the next bomb or to be taken prisoner and possibly tortured. Screw your bomb shelter. I'm staying above ground.

err i tried to go astral for a few days a while ago and i always came close but then it just stoppped and didnt work, when i try it at night when im about to sleep in bed i find i cant sleep afterwards. I kind of gave up on it, why is it that good? Any tips? It was so hard and took so long the slightest distraction bonked me up and trying again right afterwards was a much weaker attempt.

With all the predictions on everything to happen within the next 5-30 years, it is evident that there's a pretty good chance our world will fall into warlike chaos and many people think there are lots of so called psychics in the world right now for a reason. So I would like to determine which abilities in fact will be useful in the time to come so that if anyone really believes in the chaos that will happen, you can prepare yourself against it and give yourself somewhat of a better chance.
Here's my predictions. (By the way, these are what i think are the most useful ones to put practice into, you can argue that with telekinesis you can move rocks but thats after like 10 years of practice and 10 years into any of these would be better)
Martial Arts and energy influenced martial arts would be very useful.
Highly tuned telepathy.
Electrokinesis and Pyrokinesis might be the only real useful one of the elemental kinesises but they have to be highly trained.
Divination.
Remote Viewing.
Shielding and protection from other psions.

If anyone can think of any more feel free to share.
