You dont need Magic to study. For that we were given a brain.

The study of Magic is much harder than anything you can do at school.
I suggest you read Initiation Into Hermetics by Franz Bardon.
It will give u an insight to what magic is all about.

No spell will work if u cant concentrate.
And u dont need a spell to concentrate.
