Narrow Path

Interesting how the lama does not claim to know for sure that his path is the Way, Truth, and the Light.

LA FORET MAUVE

Dear Narrow Path
first, welcome to Astral pulse !
I want you to search the posts by a member called Allanon and read them. You will see that we already had a "bible-Jesus- missionary-freak"...and that he didn't convinced anyone here on this board.
I say that because i saw your second post on the "satan deceives you" post and it seems that your taking the same (very) narrow path as Allanon...
So...
if you are here to politely discute and share experiences and informations you are very welcome.[|)] But if you come here to just spit on other's beliefs...you're not. [:(!]
You can have an opinion and express it ...but not in the "Allanon's way"...[}:)]
Sorry for being a little harsh ! One more time...WELCOME ! [;)]

Narrow Path

The Enlightened One
gave this last loving instruction to his disciples:
"Brethren, I exhort you; all component things are transient.
With diligence, work out your own salvation." 22
BUDDHA

"Before his passing, Buddha taught his step-brother the transience of worldly pleasures and the meaningless-ness of a purely mundane existence.

Buddha told him that he should not worry about what happens to the body which is perishable and full of infirmities. He exhorted Ananda not to bother about the body or the mind, but to lead a life based on the dictates of the conscience. Giving this advice, Buddha breathed his last." 23

Tenacious

Hello!

I just so happened to be reading cnn.com info and i found a great quote I wanted to share and start a discuaaion on! here is the quote:
"If there are people who don't have much interest in religion, they will see negatives."-The Dalai Lama
link: http://www.cnn.com/2003/US/Midwest/09/07/dalai.lama.ap/index.html

Is this proof of AP beliefs in Religions or what?
