Greetings Narrow Path,

It would help people I am sure if you were to state exactly where your quotes originate from.

With best regards,

Adrian.

I concur, La Foret Mauve.  Unless one is able to bring wisdom to life, it's useless.

According to Christian Theology, there are three audiences for the Bible: 1) the Jews; 2) the Christians; 3) the church.  It's imperative that one know what verse is being spoken to which audience.  This is usually done incorrectly...shame and a sin.

Misapplication and misinterpretation are two of the most common mistakes that Bible quoters make.  Most of them don't even know that the 10 Commandments were intended for the Jews!

P.S.  thanks for sharing his new alias (LoL) [;)]

The ten commandments were intended for GOD'S CHOSEN people in other words EVERYBODY as the New Covenant implies. The doctrine of Salvation now in this day and age is available for not just the Jew but the Gentile. However this does not mean we are free to go about and sin. The true Disciple of Christ is known by his following of the commandments.

If everyone followed the commandments in the world the problems we see today would be DRASTICALLY reduced.

Narrow Path

Following the Narrow Path is being in the world but not of the world.

The Narrow Path is the ethical and moral applications of the principles taught by the Son of God.

The Narrow path is just that. Narrow. It is hard to do and actually impossible to complete without the aid of the Holy Spirit and encouragement obtained from prayer.

No one save One can complete the Narrow Path. We as Disciples can try to walk it but we will always fall as long as we exist in the flesh. The only advantage that we have over the followers of the world is that when we fall from the Path we are snatched up in the arms of Christ and led back towards the Kingdom of God through the abounding Grace of the Lord.

hmm, so, concretely, what do this narrow path propose to go further spiritually ?

That really sounds like closed-minded Allanon. So SMALL is the only path, the ONLY path.

You know Narrow Path you might wanna be careful. If you read to much about all this devil worshiping stuff then don't you think you're going to have trouble getting into heaven? People will occult knowledge are evil and will be burned in hell until the unclean knowledge is gone.

Remember reading anything means that you will hold that knowledge in some manner forever... I asked a Christian acquaintance and he told me that you will be going to HELL for bearing witness to our evil.

Well Ben that is not actually true. According to the new testament there is no Law to those that is in Christ. The 10 commandments were the schoolmaster to bring us to Christ but to the believer no longer exist. It is a rather interesting point. Read Galatians "having begun in the Spirit (salvation ) are you now made perfect by the law" This doctrine was the dividing point between Peter and Paul and the entire early church who believen you could be saved and still keep the law. Jesus taught that it is impossible for anyone to keep the law "for who transgresseth against one part transgresseth against the whole law" the law is only a living standard if you keep ALL of it. Hense the sacrefice in the btemple and the sacrefice of Christ.
Words.....there was a time when I believed in words!

Matthew 7

The Narrow and Wide Gates - NIV Version

13"Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.
14But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

Luke 13 - NIV

24He said to them, "Make every effort to enter through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to.

Matthew 7 - KJV

13   Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14   Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
