I have never tried taking energy from an element but my friend claims that he can take energy from water. He says he can feel energy sensations in his hands when he does it.

Really,because my best friend is Air/Wind and I am Water/Ice and we practice this alot but still have not been able to see it either but are looking into it,so if you find something please tell me.

I myself have never taken energy from an elemental source, as a matter of fact I am kind of skeptic towards it. But that does not prevent me from doing more research on it. I don't know of what energy you are talking. If you are talking about Chi or Psi, I'm definitely skeptic and I do not believe that it is possible to take such energies from elemental sources. This simply because Chi is everywhere, Chi is everything, without Chi there would be nothing. If you would take Chi from water it would have the same effect as taking Chi from the earth. Psi is an byproduct from the nerves. Since Chi is everything, Psi would automatically be Chi, like some sort of sub-group in Chi.

But if you are talking about Magical energies, then I can understand. But for some reason I doubt you are talking about Magical energies. I do not know much about Magic though I'm working on that.

The feeling you are experienced can be easily explained too. You are believing you are taking energy from water or ice. But even if you would, which could be possible, you would not feel the cold. Energy can't be cold or warm, unless you make it so. Therefore I strongly believe you are doing cryokinesis. The cold breeze somebody in this thread was feeling is a common thing though nobody knows for sure what it is. I always experience cold breezes when creating a psiball, and sometimes even when shielding. A lot of people also feel cold breezes without doing any energyworking. I have heard people tell it was because of the age; people between 12 and 20 would get that a lot. I do not believe this. My theories on it differ greatly but I do not know any of them for sure nor do I have any kind of arguments for it, excepting the logic, so I will not share them.

T_Kman0610, you should try Grounding. This is a very basic Chi-exercise and can come in handy. It's excellent against minor pains, like headaches. Basically, you should stand the first time you practice, and visualize roots coming out of your feet in the ground, drawing energy. You should feel a strange tingle or something similar in your legs. You may also experience the feeling you want to move your legs. After some practice you should be able to Ground anytime whenever you wish, whatever you are doing; walking, sitting, running, etc.
Drawing is also a possibily, that's basically drawing energy from the air. No, it has nothing to do with 'elemental energy', it's like Grounding actually, except that energy drawed by Drawing is generally regarded as 'less pure energy' than the energy drawed by Grounding for some reason or another.

I Agree, But There is elemental energy just cant be called earth,air,wind.fire extra extra. basicly there trying to pull power from fish(water), Animals trees(earth). HOpe ya get what i mean, IT is chi but they dont understand where the energy comes from, ALso

Hello, I just got here today as per request by a friend, and I like it a lot.

What Azire means is actual Element energy, not energy from chi, or animals.  I believe this is part of western beliefs, not eastern.  Also, what he claims by focusing water/ice energy is true, for I have felt it, and often times been on the receiving end.  As for me, I am currently learning to control my energy, as well as fire energies.

I got a simple question, HOw can you question someone who is a druid about elemental energy when we where the first know being to introduce ELment energy to the world of man befor the birth of crist?,also Western is based on english and irish (druidsm/shamminim Just old as bonk and has been tranformed to do diffrent things such as summoing to make the form know as wicca and peginism) And i got a question for you(not trying to be mean roa nythign ehre), IF animals are part of the earth how can u can u not say there part of the earth element I agree On the chi part since it is just self power. 1. I am not saying that animals are not from the earth element; just that energy drawn for us doesn't come from animals.
2.  I practice Wicca, but not recently.  I've been too busy.

A ya and here some advice!, Wicca is not always tought by a mentor and if you really blame it on your mentor your stuiped, Gaining knowledge is to seek the knowledge not let it sit there and wait tell it come to you. I know your gona fail in it anyways cuss the only thing you know is prbly from a mentor that is younger then me!
