Throbbing in 3rd eye

Although I personally wouldn't recommend using the middle pillar ritual due to the fact it only serves to strengthen your Guardian de Seuil (gate keeper) I refer you to http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=2560 a topic posted by Mattias Jonsson that describe the phenomena of this entity that carries ones present incarnation and its desire to attack when it feels threatened.

Apart from this advice I would consciously work on your third eye chakra to unblock it before doing the MPR as this is whats causing the throbbing. You have only a partially open third eye and it can't cope with the energy being forced through it. be carefull or you could do serious damage.

thanks for that, I will take it into consideration, although the phenomenon hasnt occured over the last two sessions, so maybe its clearing up a bit. I have thought about really trying to open my 3rd eye, I did a tarot card reading to find out if this is a good idea, and the answer was negative at this time. I think I am in a period o transition at the moment in regards to my occult studies and this could be a product of that.

I have been practising ceremonial magick for over a year now, and lately I have experienced an odd phenomenon during one of my rituals, or more precisely the middle pillar ritual. Every time I start the stimulation of the crown chakra, (over the last two days) my 3rd eye region has been pulsing quite violently, although not uncomfortably, and this continues until I get down to the root chakra. Anyone ever experienced anything similar, or have any explanations for this?
