Could you please explain what that is?[:)]

My understanding is, it's a non-physical learning system designed to greatly help a "human experiencing" soul consciously evolve. It doesn't appear to be the only non-physical learning system, however it may be the most advanced.

I've only recently started learning about it myself. After i experienced what i believe to be the entry point into the Tree of Life. After my experience i recieved the following website address which contains alot of useful and interesting information: http://www.wisdomsdoor.com

Before that i had only briefly glanced at this system when i investigated the traditions of Kabbalah.

Hmmmm....sounds too mystical to me.  I'm not knocking it or anything, because frankly, I never heard of it.  However, I personally don't see anything that 'mystical' about OBE's.  Granted, before I experienced them and in my early stages of experimentation, I certainly DID think they were mystical.  But now that I've had so many, and after doing my own research, I am seeing them as something less mystical and something more common to anyone who seeks them out.

When people start talking about experiencing the "Tree of Life" and all these other things, part of me wonders if they are either mystifying something in order to make it "not ordinary", or if their mind is just indoctrinated in much the same way as a fundamentally religious person.

Sorry if I seem judgemental.  I'm really not trying to come off that way.  It's just at this stage of my spiritual walk, I think confusing people with mystical and occult terms only discourages those from pursuing exactly what you want them to experience.
Keep smiling,

That "Tree of life" is just a spiritual learning system.
Its one of many others.
There are many ways to learn about spirituality and yourself.
I think the "Tree of life" is created for that purpose..to teach people about spirituality...now learning about the nonphysical and yourself can be learned in many ways, Tree of life is just created for a specific purpose.
Like a school but you experience and learn for yourself, its just different zones where different realities are present.
I myself have never used it, personally i dont want to use it, because i want to experience things for myself.
I personally dont have trust in these constructed systems, i dont have much trust in any system..
I guess its like an "Astral Locale" thing.. where spirits have focused their action on for a very long time.. and thats why it is working they way it does and exists.
But that doesnt mean it works they way you want..
Maybe that system is not part of who you are, maybe you dont want to walk through that filter or converter path.
I dont know, but i cant say its bad in any way.. but i can say that for me..its not my kinda thing.
Some things are good for some and for others its really not the best for them.

Personally i have a strong feeling that if i depend on a system or person to grow spiritually..i just limit my full potential by thinking that i have to let others decide what i have todo.

I'm excited at the prospect of exploring this system. I plan on keeping a detailed journal of my adventures.

beavis

Nahaz can you describe the tree? I cant find it with just a name.

The 'Tree of Life' is a Biblical object that appears in the earliest parts of the Old Testament. The idea of a 'Tree of Life' dates back to Sumeria, where it provided food that made the consumer 'immortal'. That was all it was. Along with the Water of Life, it simply made the consumer immortal. This was carried over into the Bible almost exactly. The Tree of Life was in the Garden of Eden representing the immortality that man once had access to but supposively lost.

I've never heard of the Tree of Life being any kind of spiritual path. I've only seen it in Biblical passages and translated ancient texts.
What is the sound of no leaves cloving?

The link i posted above is a very good source of information.

I believe you're referring to this.
You'd want to study the Kabbalah for further understanding of it. Here's a good place to start.
www.digital-brilliance.com/kab/ has a lot of stuff.

Nahaz

Yes that's it, thanks for the links. [:)]

"it provided food that made the consumer 'immortal'"

No thanks. I dont want to be immortal when the nuclear war starts or earth finally falls into the sun.

Nahaz

I think the word "immortal" can have more meaning than physical immortality. I believe physical immortality is possible, however to speak of immortality i first think of one's soul and spirit.

Why do you speak of nuclear war? I do not see this experience on our path. Quite the opposite, Peace.

Nahaz

Thanks again Tab. Colin Low's work is fantastic, exactly what i needed. Reminds me to listen to all sources, for none are redundant.

Tab

Glad I could be of assistance. I just started looking at this stuff the other day myself, so I'm really a n00b to the Kabbalah.

beavis

Nuclear war is very likely in the next 10 years.

Nahaz

All is possible. Nothing is inevitable. I believe this civilization will transmute like so much lead into gold.

Nahaz

Hi all,

Has anyone here had direct experience of The Tree of Life? I would be interested to hear about other people's experiences.

Thanks
