It's suspiciously closely related. Might be coincidence, but it could easily be something more.

I have not read the Quran so I cannot say for sure. I do know that it is dangerous to take things out of context and use them to support a position. Including the entire passage this sentece appears in might give more clues as to it's meaning.
Alice had got so much into the way of expecting nothing but out-of-the-way things to happen, that it seemed quite dull and stupid for life to go on in the common way.

Most scholars do not really have any good interpretation on what the Quran means by 'Seven Heavens', but I would like to note a story about the Prophet Muhammad(peace be upon him).

The story is known as the Israa by Muslims, or "night journey" It goes that Muhammad was taken while sleeping by the Angel Jibril and he ascended the "Seven Heavens" in which at the 7th one he met Allah(God). To Muhammad, the journey was long, but in reality when he returned to his home(in the physical reality), it was so quick that the door in his room hadnt finished swinging.

I have always thought of this as an Out of Body Experience.

I seem to remember reading that the 7 heavens were probably more the 7 dimensions rather than astral planes, although I am not sure how anyone or anything else can exist upon the highest level than the One God, but errr....(head explodes)

You are the Alpha and the Omega. You are vaster than the universe and more powerful than a flaring supernova. You are truly incredible!!

I was interested in Robert Bruce's description of the 7 Astral Planes, all in different layers above each other.

I was quite surprised therefore to find the following verse in the
Quran, the holy book of Islam:

Nuh 15: "Do you not see how Allah has created the seven heavens, one
above another..."

This seems to be more than just a coincidence.  Anyone else have any
thoughts on this?
