Well time in the astral doesn't work like that.  It slows down a little depending on how close you are to the physical realm, but not alot until you get to the higher planes.  The most it would slow down for is like you are there for an hour and in the physical you were only projecting for 30 minutes.  This is just an example of how it could work and not how it acctaully works.

Personally-I am always amazed by how much can occur during an AP-I will wake up thinking I must of slept all night-to find that I was only sleeping for an hour or 2-if you have an OBE in real time-time is basically the same-although, I once looked at my digital alarm clock during an OBE and the numbers looked backwards-I have no explaination for this except that my astral double is dyslexic

You will find that this is extremely common.  It's damn near impossible to read anything while projecting.  In one of my last projections, I read something, then looked away and tried to remember what I just read.  I forgot!  So I looked again, read it, and then looked away, and again I forgot what it said!

So you'll find that even if you COULD read, it may be difficult to retain that knowledge.  But chances are, no matter what you try and read, the letters will become inverted or just look like nonsense.

I think this may be related to the fact that we're using different senses than we're used to.  When projecting, you're actually relying on your inner senses instead of your outer physical senses.  This usually reverses things a lot.

For example, I have had many projections where my own house looks to be inverted (eg. I turn left to walk down my hall instead of right, my door is on the opposite wall, etc).

Not only that, but does this happen to anyone else: As soon as I return from an OBE, I ask myself, "What side of my body am I laying on?"  If I'm on my left, I seem to think I'm on my right side!  I think this may be because I'm FACING the right, but laying on my left, but my brain doesn't know how to process my question until I think for a minute!  It's almost like getting my physical brain jump-started again.

I have noticed this for some time now..
It seems to be a mirror effect, I posted about it but didn't get much of a response.  I am right handed but while in the astral I always seem to use my left hand..really weird, and when I am recounting a experience, for example I say, someone was on my left, wait..no it was on my right..lol   My mind is always switching it..
I've also Had the same problem with reading something and the next second I can't remember what the heck I just read.  I have read text but goodness it was very hard and I had to really strain and stick with it and write it down immediately!  Even then I know I forgot a great deal of it..[]

Hello people!

I have a thought that i want to look into.[?]
How many of you have more experience in total in the astral vs physical.

Example:
You wakeup one day in the physical and you have been away in the astral for "1 week".[8D]
And after 1 day in the physical you go to bed or do you astral travel and you are gone for 1 more week.

It would be nice to see how you look at it.[)]
I mean, some may experience only 10% of their total pexperience in the physical while having a physical body to stimulate.
More time in the astral than physical.
