Hey jeff, I tried to install it but it complained that I don't have the .NET framework...  Is it because I use 2000 and not XP...?

No, it doesn't depend on your operating system.  You would have to go to this link and download the .NET 1.1 Framework onto your system:

http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/

Or you could click the Windows Update option from your START menu.

If you need any other help, you could direct your questions on my support forum here: http://www.obejournal.com/Forums

Hello everybody.
I don't understand, which kind of meditation do you all use?
Is it like trancemed. or is it some "usual" kind of med. like breathing meditations or mantra/affirmationmaditation?

Myself I've been playing round with different meditationstyles, from zazen (zenbuddistic), to Yoga Nidra and mantra and affirmation. I also know TM (Trancendental Meditation). I don't practise it regularly though.
I haven't tried my limits for meditaion but I usually meditate from 10 to 30 minutes.

Hey Jeff,

I checked out your program and I like it.  I registered on your forum too and made a couple of posts.  I think that the program has a lot of potential as a quality tool.  It also has a lot of potential for growth as well.  I hope that this works out for you and that you continue to improve the program.

Yes, I see you posted on there, and I already responded.  I agree that I think this will be a good tool for all those interested in writing down their dreams, OBE's, and AP's.

You know, it has to start somewhere, and I think the program right now is pretty darn sophisticated.  As I release future versions, it will become more and more complex.  [:D]

Mark.....sorry about that.  Looks like it was some left over garbage in my HTML code that was ported over from the MyJokeMail.com website!

Anyway, I changed some things, so try again and let me know if you can get to the OBE Journal website.  If you still can't, then let me know and I can email you the program.

Hi Jeff,
I downloaded your program, it's great! I already know I want to use it indefinitely.I want to be able to store the info on Cd. Is this possible? I had bought a Cd a few years ago (it stored the info), it ended up being incompatible with my computer or me. This program you have created seems superior than this other one I tried to use.

Hi Wisp,

The info is stored as text files on your hard drive.  However, it is possible to put the program's working directory on a CD, and run it from a read/write CD drive (CD-RW).  That way, the program can still write to the new files.

Granted, I have never tested that, but I don't see why that would be a problem.  I don't want to take up too much space on Astral Pulse giving tech support for it, so if you have technical questions, please post them here and we can get into more detail: http://www.obejournal.com/Forums

Anyway, I'm glad so many people like the program, and that it's gaining popularity.  I am working on the next release, which will allow you to COMBINE conditions to analyze.

As an example, right now, you can only analyze one condition at a time, like "How many of my experiences involved an astral encounter?"  Or "How many of my experiences happened after sex?"

However, in the next released version, you will be able to COMBINE conditions to analyze.  You could see how many astral encounters happened when you had sex prior.  Or you could see how many projections you had during a nap time which also involved medication, etc.  There are many different possibilities that you will be able to cross reference.

Anyway, this next release should be out within a week.  I will keep you all posted.  Right now, version 1.00.00 Beta 3 is available for download here: http://www.obejournal.com/downloads.shtml

Hello guys,

For the last 2 years (off and on), I've been designing a program called OBE Journal.  OBE Journal is an advanced journal for OBE's, AP's, and dreams.

http://www.obejournal.com

What does it do?  Not only does it allow you to record your experiences within it, but it will ANALYZE them all and calculate some important data, which I call the OBE Cycle.

I've already offered this program to a couple of people on this board, like Adrian and Gandalf, but now I feel like it's ready to be rolled out to everyone.

I would like all of you to check out the new site I created and let me know if you have ANY questions.  You can download it there as well: http://www.obejournal.com

OBE Journal is still in a BETA development state, but I'm sure you will find the program to be exceptional.  However, should you come up with any bugs, or feature requests, I would like to hear about them on the Tech Support forum: http://www.obejournal.com/Forums.

Again, I've been using this myself for about two years, and it's been such a help to me that I wanted to devote a lot of time into making it available to everyone else.
