At least 5 times I've felt like this world is a dream (and had increased telekinesis ability). At least 2 of those times, I saw the space in the room vibrate (curved 4-dimensionally).

That is precisely what most people need to do in order to have an OBE: forget about everything in this world.

It's almost like your falling asleep to this world and awakening into another, the same way you fall asleep to the dream world and wake up to this one every morning.
Keep smiling,

Jeff, that does work well when I'm able to do it.

brisck1, I like the feeling of reality being a dream. Unfortunately, it only lasted a few hours with smaller effects lasting days. I've been trying to make that state permanent since then, without success. Why is it "messed up"?

jc84corvette

I would not want reality to be a dream for sure!

beavis

But it is, so why not stop lying to yourself?

GhostGirlyNY

I totally know what you're talking about.  Many times, I will "wake up" repeatedly and keep projecting whenever I fall asleep again.  This happened to me just the other day.  I would wake up in what I believed to be the physical world, but I was half asleep.  As soon as I'd start to fall asleep again, I would project.  Then I would wake up in my physical body and fall asleep again, only to project.  I can't really describe it, but this went on for quite some time.

The only reason I said it messed me up was that I just felt like I couldnt tell what was the real world anymore. I was also shocked as to how little I cared about this life and how all my freinds family and things that are important to me were being so easily forgotten.

When I was writing the messege I could also see strange stobing and flashes in the air around me, I thought it was just the unusual effects of projecting.

The thing that made it bad also was that the more I was projecting, the more my energy seemed to be 'drained'. It makes me wonder what could have happened if I had continued to project the rest of the night...

I have always had the ability to project since I was a child, although it always happens completely involentarily. I used to be scared of it, but since i feel i am now a bit more educated on what is happening to me I always try to test how real these things are when they happen.

The thing is, I still feel that I have no control when it starts to happen, and I just cant stop projecting, over and over.

Although I DO feel in control when im out, I cant help but feel as though someone or something is coaxing me out of my body sometimes, just to leech off my energy or even try to posses my body (as stupid as it sounds).

Its put me off projecting, but obviouly it will happen again whether
I like it or not.

How can I find out why I get so drained?
And also why I was being dragged Downwards to start off?

Amadeth

Try doing some energy work. Perhaps closing your chakras after projecting would help a bit.
There's also a possibility of a neg activity.

It could be many things but I would say you have naturaly high chakra activity and it would be best if you'd learn to control it.

brisck1 The only reason I said it messed me up was that I just felt like I couldnt tell what was the real world anymore.

You previously thought what you see around you is real and solid, but now you see the truth that it is flexible energy. How is that bad?

I was also shocked as to how little I cared about this life and how all my freinds family and things that are important to me were being so easily forgotten.

If you lived in a restaurant your whole life and the people there were important to you, and you were let out of the restaurant, those people would become less important to you as you explored the outside world. The decrease in importance of your family and friends is appropriate to your new freedom. Once you get out of the restaurant, you might not ever want to live there again, but you will probably visit.

I think I have experienced pretty much what you have at different times. For a while i had a distorted vision/reality thing after some obe's but on one of my obe experiences something touched one my lower chakras and I have not experienced anything weird after an obe.
In the world in general and in this nation
May not even the names disease, famine, war, and suffering be heard.
May virtuous qualities, merit, and prosperity greatly increase
And may continuous good fortune and subline well-being perfectly arise.

xardas

Maybe its some kind of psychological "disease".

I have the same problem:
http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=8278

I read about autism (dutch word "autisme"). It's like you can get obsessed by weird things. I had it for example with hitting an object 4 a while, each time i got home for some reason i hit the same object  as i did yesterday. And so on.... It's the same with OBE, you want to stop, but still your mind keeps on wanting to have another OBE. So in fact you get out of control. And it's not funny.

The main problem is you're still in the restaurant, and that's were you actually want to be. And people become less important.

It's like someone is trying to pull you out of the restaurant and that someone does not exist.

what is this part of the room vibrateing thing, i have seen it three times in 2 weeks period in summer, i thought i had illusions so i havent talked about it (but i have never had illusions in my life).

beavis

"room vibrateing thing":
I was looking mostly with my physical eyes and maybe some with my third. I saw my room curved as if I were looking at a distortion through curved glass with varying thickness. The curves vibrated for a few seconds at about 5-10 hz when I raised enough energy. Then they became small.

But what are they ? Energies from other planes ?. I saw them just when sitting in front of my PC and going into the pathroom for example.
Space what was vibrateing was approximately 15x15 cm big or smaller.
This vibration was 3D for my eyes and i was able to see it moving like puzzle, little squares in it what were moving while the space vibrated. I dont remember it perfectly.

brisck1

for me it was like a strobing light effect all around me, affecting my vision

beavis

jc84corvette, no I didnt see any circles.

MK911, I think they are vibrations (curves changing) in the spacetime that is slightly offset from normal spacetime in the astral direction (real time zone?).

brisck1, I didnt see any strobing lights.

Hi, I just awake from what I can only describe as a half-Lucid dream, half -OBE type event. It started off as a normal projection event, being paralysed, but aware, then  I felt a tugging on my arm,as if someone was helping me out. So I let them do it, but once I was out I found myself being dragged downwards, which I heard is not a good thing so I threatened "Not down! if you take me there i will return to my body!". It didnt stop so i returned promptly.then, after slowly relaxing again (took short time, about a min) I felt the same paralysis but this time managed to project myself. At the time it seemed like a RT projection as I can remember everything so vividly. I floated out of the room and through the window (it was like breaking through a soft 'gluey' film) I then realised it wasn't my window as there was a big fountain outside, but continued anyway. This i now believe was a half OBE-Lucid dream type state, but the problem was I kept awaking and becoming conciouss again and re-projecting everytime i closed my eyes. It wouldnt stop so when i decided to get up and wake myself up a bit, I felt really, really detatched from reality (still do! almost as if this were still a dream or something) It certainly has messed me up big style, and I dont know wether im going to get any more sleep tonight as i feel so wierd, like my energy has been zapped. It felt almost as if I had awakened when doing it and began forgetting about everything in this world, in the same way you do when waking from a dream.

What is worrying me is that i just dont feel right now, I hope it goes soon, maybe its just that I am tired. Has anyone else experienced this??
