It sounds logical to me. I believe that one can also teleport. Since all of the dimensions operate on the same principles, and it is possible to teleport in the astral, then it must be possible to teleport in the physical by using one's astral body and linkages to the physical body.

And since it is possible to bring objects from the astral into the physical and vise versa, this has to be possible. It makes sense logically.

I've had at least 2 experiences that involved some kind of time travel. The first was when my spirit entered into my own body (for about 10 seconds) in a different timeline that didnt happen, maybe because I knew about it. The second was when I intended to merge physical and astral around me, which resulted in the text of a book being different (100% sure I read it correctly). It looked like it had been printed in a new past instead of being changed when I did that because it was printed as well as the rest of the text in the book. That text is still changed. The first involved only energy (my spirit). The second was a change in mass, so a time machine should be possible.

There is a huge forum like the AP on google if you type in Time Travel Forums.

If time is connected with light then by moving faster than the speed of light you would be racing agianst time its self now if you go faster than ime would you vanish your self out of existence or would you be stuck in a time frame where every thing is frozen.[|)]

If you want a really interesting concept of time travel you should read the last two books of the Ender's Game series by Orson Scott Card. The characters in the book essentially find a way to pop themselves "outside" of the Universe and can then pop themselves back in at any point in time and at any location. Not only that, but they can conjure up any device or being they wish while outside. They do this subconsciously and sometimes do it accidentally, so it can actually be very dangerous for the wrong people to be popped "out."

Well for starters if you travelled faster than light to the moon and looked back you would see yourself leaving, but all you are seeing is the photons your ship emitted at the time of departure and not your actual physical ship - photons allow us to see an object but it isnt a requirement for an object to emit photons to exist.
Example: your ship is in earth orbit, you click a green button and your ship zooms off at faster than light speed, at the same time your ship left your ship emitted photons of light - your ship was travelling so fast your ship reached the moon before the photons your ship emitted from Earth reached the moon, so you are able to look toward Earth and see these photons of light.

As you approach the speed of light you require more and more energy to reach it - in the end you would require an infinate amount of energy in order to reach light speed which is why light speed travel is impossible and Faster than Light speed is even more impossible.

A way around this would be to warp spacetime, you bring the destination closer to you and you take a small step over into the new destination and then stop the warping of space thus allowing spacetime to go back to normal - but this again would require an unimaginable amount of energy to achieve and its not yet known how it would be accomplished and most notably you wouldnt be travelling anywhere near light speed.

The reason photons can travel at the speed of light is because photons have zero mass, if you could make your spaceship have zero mass then you wouldnt require an infinite amount of energy to propel it to light speed so you could reach light speed.

If time travel is possible then it isnt possible by means of travelling faster than light (186,000 Miles per Second).

Scientists cannot determine the location, speed, or direction of an electron using photons. This happens for two reasons: One, the photon, when it collides with the electron, changes both the velocity and the direction of the electron. Therefore it is impossible to state the location, speed, or direction of the electron. This implies that photons  may actually have mass, because it is not being absorbed by the electron, but rather bouncing off of it, the way light bounces off of a surface, no matter if they are clear, solid, or what color they are. Even mat-black surfaces reflect photons. If they didn't, you wouldn't be able to tell how far away you were from them.

Lol this is a little of topic, but photons is an awsome word!![:D]

Any way to time travel would require a connection of some sort to the "past". This already exist at higher dimensions, maybe you could use it? You would need a form of craft to take you up the dimensional scale and drop you down at another point in history. UFO's have been known to dematerialise so maybe you can go further. No idea on the technology though, bit out of our league for now!

That said there may be other portal methods. I have read some fringy things on it, not quite sure whats really going on though.

The classical theories, think they are groping in the dark without a greater ability to see. Clinging to old theories and ways of thinking holds them back. Mystics and scientists are both observing the universe but using different tools, only we've been doing it for longer and perfect the art in ourselves. Science it catching up though, and chance discoveries like ormus metals might help.

What about the philadelphia project, using tesla coils and thermal / magnetic fields.

Oh great now you've done it. You went and made me think. You know how many years of therapy it's going to take to get this pain to go away lol. What if you were to travel around the earth angainst its rotation how about that.
You can't outrun death but you can make the Bastard work for it.

There are here two aspects to consider: (1) in the astral realm (2) in the physical realm.

In the physical realm one can maybe travel in the future, as it is done with atomic clock traveling in orbit around the earth. This is just according to the theory of relativity where the time "unit" is different for two observers with a relative velocity. So, for someone on earth, the clock in orbit around the earth is going more slowly and is getting older more slowly. It is by accelerating particles to high speed that one can observe them for a longer time. These are particles that have a life time very short (they transform into, for example, two other particles), and therefore we are unable to observe them. Now if we observe them while they have a large speed, then their life time is longer and we can proceed more easily with the experiment.

Now, let us have a look again in the Physical, but this time going backward in time. If someone can go backward in time, then she (let us assume that person is a she) can go back say to last year, 2002, and kill her old self from 2002. Then as she does that, she will have killed herself from 2002 and the years to come. So, today, in year 2003, she should not exist, since she died last year. So if she does not exist, she cannot travel in time to the past, and therefore cannot kill herself. And if she does not kill herself in 2002, then she can travel back in time from 2003 to 2002, etc... So we see that this is not consistent with simple logic: to be or not to be? to be AND not to be !

Therefore in the physical one cannot travel to the past.

In the astral one can travel to the past and future, however one cannot interact with the physical world, otherwise it would make it the same as with the physical traveler who killed herself.

So the price for traveling in time is that we can only observe and cannot interact with the physical.

I personnally believe that the future already exist and it is waiting for us to "live it". When one has premonitions (premonitory dreams) one taps into that future and get information.

Hi Everone,

If you check out the book Astral Travel for Beginners by Richard Webster in his book in chapter 5 THE ASTRAL WORD he talks about transporting into the past or future.

He explains that you are traveling in the astral world, so you are not experiencing the physical world but the astral replication of it.

Sincerely,
Frank (Hypnotist)

"So the price for traveling in time is that we can only observe and cannot interact with the physical."

I dont think it really works like that - you forget parellel dimensions......
IMO reality is not linear but infinite - infinite you's, me's, all strung along down different timelines and paths. Of course I have very little to base this on except poor logic and a little intuition [:D]

Travelling back in time in the astral - what would be interesting would be to have a high level practitioner try to rematerialise inside the previous time frame. However I suspect that this is more viewing the past through the akashic records than existing within it.

Of course we can all time travel...
First you go to the international dateline, where the day changes first (where ever that may be.) and walk back and forth over it. Bravo you can go between two days at once![|)]

Okay...I don't know a way to seriously time travel. Although I read somewhere. You could freeze your body..I cant remember the technical term...and then in about 300 years our so they could unfreeze you, and you would be the same age. And you could meet your great-great-great-great-grandkids. And see everything in the "future" but the only problem with that theory is, you could never get back to your own "time".

If you get near a black hole and come back, you will be in the future.

Syke

in one of the episodes of 'The Others' one of them starts having dreams of this girl... turns out its a girl from many many years ago and they are connecting in their dreams.
so this dude goes to sleep and kinda projects there to find her and is able to walk around but is unable to interact physically.

i guess you could do the same with the future, but you wouldnt be able to tell if what you saw would ever really happen. at least with going to the past you can look up events you saw to see if you really did go back.

i was just thinking about the 'faster then the speed of light' way..... my brain hurts now lol... i had alot i was gonna say, but every time id think of something id think of something else to rule it out and then think of something else to rule THAT out and so on and so forth... so ill just leave that up to others.

If light moves with a certain speed then theoretically. I would be able to travel to the moon with a speed faster than light and with a very strong binolular look down and see myself leaving. If I am able to trancend physical time , transfiguration , I should then be able to travel in time, since time is only the ripples onm the surface of the mirror. The reflections of events as mirrored by light. ?? Just an exercise in theorising but is this right?
