Hyperdimensional

Hi,

quote:
What are your favorite ways for a LD? And what is the chances they happen?

My favorite way for a LD is detecting the dream, you have to put atention to every detail of what you are watching during the dream, also put atention in the history that develops during the dream, after you recognize the anomalies you realize that u are dreaming then u have control of the dream (LD) and If u practice a lot u could have full control and AP could happen..

The chances they happen are 1 in a week or two weeks at first, 1 or 2 a week if practice more and daily if practice a lot.

Best regards

As Hyperdimensional said, the best way to have a lucid dream is just to be... lucid [;)]; aware of what's going on around you...

Also, why limit the lucidity to night time; be lucid during daytime too...  Many people, me included, are like "zombies", lost in their thoughts, day dreaming, absorbed by their activities, etc...  Just try to be more aware of what's going on around you during day time; and you will have a good chance to be aware during night time too...

Check http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=8305 too...

Yes but how do I be more aware? Im sleeping.

Nagual

Practice...
Practice...
And practice...

Start with daytime first and nighttime should follow.

Maybe it also depends on energy; so try to save some.  Some believe that we have a finite/limited amount of energy that we use in our daily activities...  So, in order to increase the amount used for a given task, you need to get it from other "useless" activities.  I let you decide which "useless" activities you are doing every day.

Your dreaming self mimics your waking self. If you never question reality
during the day, yu will probably never question it at night. At various
times during the day, ask yourself if this is real or if its a dream.
Then prove to yourself whether our dreaming or not. If you wear a digital watch
then this will be easy. Printed material in the dreamworld has a hard time
staying together. Check the time, look away, recheck the time. If it changes your dreaming,
if not then your probably awake. This like everything takes practice, but after
a couple of weeks it should become habit and you will start dreaming lucidly.

kampersdream

This assumes that you are already remembering/recording at least 2-3 dreams a night.
If not, then when you do achieve the lucid state there is a good chance you
wont remember when you wake up.

Theres an easy way to get a LD. Hit your head with a hammer 20 times. They you will have a Learning Disability.

Work on remembering your dreams.  Keep a notebook by your bed and jot down a few notes about the dream then go back to sleep.  While you are doing that, work on 'living in the now'.  Be aware of what you are doing for as much of the day as you can.  Stop trying to do two or more things at the same time like driving and talking on a cell phone (pet peeve).  Try not to daydream so much.  From time to time, do a reality check.  As you do that more and more during the day, you will start to do that more and more at night in dreams.  Sooner or later, you will realize you are dreaming.

You must whip it

Well I can remember dreams easily! I do not need a journal, it actualy minimizes me remembering dreams. I can remember 2-3 a night.

Syke

well ive only done it once now, so you can just ignore this if you only want suggestions from experienced LDers...

well i set my alarm clock an hour and a half or so before i had to get up, then i set it to go every 10 minutes untill i did wake up... after about 40 minutes i turned it off and went to sleep and had a short LD.
it could be that i kept myself close to awake with continuing to wake myself up, or it could have just been dumb luck.
