What I think you were saying is the topics are becoming devoid of the topic, IE; useless posts divert attention from the at-hand discussion.

I have seen this happen as well, and I have stated my opinion on the matter elsewhere.

I don't want to bash you at all here, I want to commend you on your forthrightness.  And I apologize again for what happened in my spelling topic.

Relevance is the issue here, correct? In which case I can see the common offenders posting here with a few words answering the topic sentence (Not the actual post), simply to increase their post count further.

Note that I once aimed toward massive post count, but I quit such actions a few weeks ago.  I hope those who are doing the same will follow my example.

It has been my concern for a while that the the quality of posts here is diminishing as people become more apathetic about what they say and how they say it. There is nothing wrong  at all with a casual approach, but its the thoughtless approach I dislike.

I agree absolutely. I have made my retarded posts in the past, and probably still do.

The solution? Well this site was originally built for OBE discussions and related stuff. Now it's grown into a playground for the Ki Krowd, semi-literate idiots, and people who just repeat eachother. Then there's the Philosopher's Group, who sit on their asses contemplating the ways of the Astral and the Universe, without so much as even projection exit symptoms under their belts.

I say "GET OFF YOUR LAZY ASSES AND PROJECT ALREADY!!!" because the original intent of the forum was to answer questions and give help. Now questions and most answers are repeated, and people generally waste their time, and ki people pollute an astral development area.

Squeek, not bash me ?. Too bad, I was expecting someone to do just that - and I still have high hopes up (on http://www.realultimatepower.net/ there is an absolutely hilarious hate mail section). Hate doesn't like being taken unseriously. Hate likes hate, as hate propagates hate. If it is not taken seriously, it passes you by.

The most efficient way of dealing with person directed attacks, in my opinion, is to expect it. If you're ever attacked, try hitting yourself in self-defense []. How's that for a pre-emptive attack ? (said while praying on his knees to the God Within, for this not to turn into a political, nor religious discussion). Unexpected reactions lead to confusion. To borrow a bit from the ideas of The Matrix: the unexpected attack is the glitch which makes the software halt (software = mind, hardware = body)

It is much easier to discuss a problem than implement a solution. As I see it, there has to be a certain tolerance, but when a lot of people go close to the limit of what can be tolerated, a solution is not within view. You could decide to set a new standard for what can be tolerated, but when the new standard is implemented, a lot of "polarity war" leaders will gain a following, which will rip the whole thing apart. So you may ban these people too, but a lot of them may wish to be "reincarnated" to continue their war, meanwhile some other people may wish to spam and disrupt in revenge. All this, in turn, will cause most serious minded people to leave (if they hadn't already left a long time ago). What is your view on this ?

What is evident, is evident. Thereby, I am not saying what is evident. In polarity based wars, it is almost impossible to say anything, as anything said soon makes the discussion go up in flames.
Nevertheless, I will try. People who are too intertwined in belief based systems, DO NOT READ THIS! (you have been warned, and therefore I would recommend that you take your discussion elsewhere!) The core of believe is "lie". You can't argue against the experiences of someone, but you can call him a deceiver, etc, though that is very non-conducive, and few people chose that route. Astral projectors experience. Belief based people have, more often than not, no real experience to base their beliefs on. Security is found in belief for them, not experience, and an opposing belief threatens the security found in such a person's belief. Therefore they attack each others beliefs, and in the end, each other. Wars are justified in the real world by belief; one person says "I am right, and God is with me", the other person says exactly the same. And the followers believe, not experience. That's my opinion.

Now back to this forum:
Example: Astral Projector A says: I have just experienced such and such. Other Astral Projectors say: How very interesting, and someone relates of a similar experience, and perhaps someone tries to interpret the experiences

Belief based person B says something controversial (to other belief based people at least) and soon they all start bashing each other.

The root cause of the problems on these forums are, in my opinion: 1) A shift of focus, from the Astral Projector crowd, to the belief based people. 2) Immaturity - and yes, you can be young, and yet mature. You can also be old, and yet immature. If something here hits you in the stomach, look within, instead of lashing out.

What makes a society, a society, is that there are rules, to which most people conform. If most people did not conform, to some extent, there would be anarchy.

The exchange of information in a useful way, requires a common ground. A part of the common ground is English in this case, and the erosion of it, decreases the value of the information exchange.

A useful discussion requires consideration in posting, respect for each other, and for the topic. Losing respect for language, is a sign of disrespect. (and no, I'm not talking about an error here and there and occasionally - I'm a foreigner myself)

I see Astralpulse losing it's value as a source of knowledge due to too many contaminations in the pool of knowledge.

Now, go on, bash me for my opinions, bash each other for your opinions, and be sure to be quick enough to hit the "Post New Reply" button to misunderstand me. Be sure to state your opinion even if it has already been said in the same context, and adds no value - after all, that's what the rest of the world does and likes, and everyone likes a place in the spotlight. If you're good at it, you may succeed in quelling that inner voice, which is the source of so much wisdom.

And in the future, be sure to not use the "search" button - in more than one sense, nor look at Robert Bruce's valuable articles and BUY his books above all. (when is the next coming out ? - I can't wait!)

It's a crazy world we live in (and most people would probably find us the craziest), and therefore I would hate losing Astralpulse as a source of sanity for the insane.
