i jsut thought of something if you are constantly having lucid dreams wont you gain a false sense of securtiy and think your dreamin when your not and do something really stupid in the (real world)

James S

Simple test -
In the real world gravity works.

Sometimes dreams can feel so real and be so vivid that you question what is real and what isn't. If you find yourself getting to this point often its about time you sat down and answered that question. There's not much point in looking to venture into alternative realities if you dont have a firm grounding in the physical world first. It's a sure way of permanently screwing your mind up otherwise.

To remember dreams, use a dream journal. Record dreams every day right after u had them.

Have you ever had the situation where you wake up from a dream, only to find that you were in a dream within a dream, and you're still not actually awake?

Man does THAT ever screw with the mind!

Hey, I just had that happen to me this morning!  Had a yucky dream about the hubby, called him on the phone..then realized, oh man the numbers aren't working, I am dreaming! Woke up and called him for real [^]

It is a little wild when that happens.

Yeah, I hate that.  A few weeks ago I was having a terrible dream about flying around and some unseen force was following me from dream to dream and batting me down.  It was more frightening then aggrivating, just trying to fly away and being smacked down by an invisible force.  So I was like screw this, I'm done with this dream.  I woke up, but was still dreaming, woke up in my bed in my bedroom, rolled out of bed fell onto the floor and tried to tell at the top of my lungs.  And it was all dull, no sound came out of my mouth, and I was like ARRRRRRRRRGH screw this.  And then I woke up in my bed.  That was the worst, the double wake up.  I've had that a few times, it's confusing and disorienting.  I think one time I was projecting but I'm not sure haven't had a conscious AP yet, just two from dreams...  try try and try again.

Be well,
J

I wake up into another dream more often than not.  I usually walk to the bathroom, and then I wake up for real.
