I think that he is seriously confused.  He is linking the vile satanic acts of the Government and Illuminati which is pure evil to the acts of pure love and good that many of you here practice.  I dont think he realizes exactly what you do and what your purpose is.  In the Illumnati it is said they still prctice human sacrifice and the drinking of human blood.  Also it is said that the goverment studies the human aura and the psi fields and does horrible mind experiments to the human guinea pigs involved.  Many of you know about CIA involvment with Remote Viewing during the Cold war.

Awakening your higher-self is exactly what the goverment and negative entities are trying to stop with the "mind control and programming" that he mentioned. It is obvious he is one sided in this area so I would either right back to him explaining more delicately your goals and involvment or not communicate to him at all.

These people travel around charging $300 for seminars where they "deprogram" people while demonizing us "Aliens" and blaming us for all the worlds problems.

Weirdness abounds.  Fortunately for us, the same people who think WE are weirdos for believing in OBE, also think THEY ought to be locked up for believing in alien conspiracy theories.  So, for the most part, I think our community does not need to fear a new burning-time.

As much as I would like to take comfort in that thought, I have discovered this theory is far more widespread than one might think.
There are radio programs on the topic, and a whole genera of books.
The fact that this group of people can actually make a living touring the country, giving lectures, and collecting over $300 a person to "deprogram" them is cause for some concern.

Perhaps they jar my senses because of past-life trauma. Surely these are witch-hunters returned. Or Nazi's. Or both? It's all the same mentality.

I dunno, in my 20+ years in the Weirdo community I've never encountered anything like this.  Perhaps it's because I've always lived north of the Mason-Dixon line, in communities that value intellectualism (right now I'm only 2 hours out of NYC).

In all seriousness, I do not know what to make of this man. Perhaps if he has spent so much time in the illuminati that they still have control over him. That's just a possibility to consider. There are many others. I was about to ask him a smart-assed question but decided not to, because it would not be right. I am throwing away all of the things that have kept me back. I do not want to be like those who serve beings of malice and evil. I am a being of light and benevolence and will do only what such beings do. Don't worry about this guy. Maybe he's under mind control or psychic attack himself, and maybe not. This is not for us to determine. We cannot act upon people unless they give us permission to do so. I think it is plainly obvious that people who do astral project and do lucid dreaming are not aliens. Perhaps aliens are also capable of this, but it is obvious that not all beings who can do it are aliens. Personally I think it would be wise for this man to open his mind and accept some things. It seems as though more and more people are growing paranoid. I will be a tree in the woods that watches all who pass on a trail, and all the water in the river as it continues to flow in the warm seasons and freeze in the cold seasons. I will not take part in the paranoia.

Hmmm.... interesting. As far as I can see, there are three probable causes for people saying these things:

1) As Leyla said, theyve tried AP and failed and are therefore  a)    envious or b) suspicious of people that can

2) They embrace conspiracy theories about "brainwashing" and "mind control" because it liberates them from self-responsibility. In other words if you are being controlled then your actions at the will of somebody else and just about anything can be justified (Im no psychologist but to me this seems likely)

3) They simply have too much time on their hands
