Hi Jang, welcome to the forum.

I'll try to answer these as best I can.....

1)ENERGY PORTS:
Keep in mind here RB's NEW is mainly based on Yoga practices, so there will be some dissimilarities between it and Qi-gong, though both have the same basic purposes.

NEW doesn't ignore the crown chakra, but uses it more as an end point in  awakening the energy body, which kinda makes sense as it is the highest point, the highest frequency (or vibration) chakra, and the point of communication with our higher self.

The technique Robert describes in NEW is centred around development of the secondary energy system, which seems to be often ignored, but if used correctly, can greatly enhance the flow of energy to the primary chakras. The energy ports on our hands and feet are also often overlooked, which is why Robert makes a big thing of them. When you consider how much work these energy ports do in our everyday lives it makes sense to pay them some attention.

2) ENERGY PECULIARITIES:
The different techniques work the same way, but use different terminology. I'll see if I can translate, but not being too familiar with the chinese conventions, please forgive me in advance of I botch it up. [;)]

Earth chi would be similar to the grounding force - the strong raw energy that is drawn up from the ground and converted by the root chakra into higher energy for the body to use.

Heavenly chi would be like the white / gold light that comes from above down through the crown chakra and energises us directly.

Solar & lunar chi - don't know how to relate this one, but I sure feel it a lot when meditating at sinrise or sunset, or during a full moon (BOY do I feel it then!!). This energy seems to be absorbed directly by the energy prtals, especially on the hands, or just seemingly infused through the skin.

3) COLOURED ENERGY:
This does need personal research as there's a great deal of info here to be absorbed. I think it basically relates to the frequency of energy dealt with by the different chakras and the colour that associates with that chakra, be it similar to increase chakra activity, or complementary to decrease it's activity. My memory of this area isn't too good, and I don't think Robert really expanded on this. The main aim of NEW was to help develop awareness of the secondary systems and how useful they are to the energy body.

Hope this helps.
Regards,
James.

Cruel Tendencies

I don't think it's that Mr. Bruce is ignoring these aspects of energy work.  I think NEW is simply geared more to getting the person to the point where they can work and experiment with energy themselves, and go with whatever system they're comfortable with.  He doesn't seem to be in the business of providing elaborate systems and paradigms for people to use, so much as teaching them the techniques to understanding and creating their own.

In replys to NEW and other training documents, I find that if you alter and combine all the documents together you get a really high level training regiman. I myself am a Level 4 of 10 in a blackbelt ki training camp that I have been in for 5 years. So if you would want take advice from everything and combine.

Thanks to Frank S. ,Cruel Tendencies and Kutabare for their replies. I strongly agree with Kutabare that the NEW principles greatly enhance the power of other systems. I tried  NEW techniques alone (with good results) and experienced also combining them to other energy systems (mainly chan mi gong and Western Light Work) and found the felt effects were then much stronger (I cured myself from several sports accident -  tendon problems - within a couple of days.).
Has anyone made similar experiences ? Has nobody had any negative consequences ?
To Kubatare: You mention a Ki-training camp. Do you speak of some martial art based on KI ? I have practised martial arts for 29 years now and I am very interested. Could you give me some details?
Thanks !

Hello everybody!
I recently read Robert's guides and books (thank you for the excellent work, Robert!) and started training along the outlined principles but I have several points I would like to have further explanations from NEW-Experts:
1) conc. ENERGY-PORTS:
Many Qi-gong and other energy systems consider the crown chakra a major enregy port. I myself used it for many years as such). The NEW-System ignores this role. Why ?
2) conc. ENERGY PECULIARITIES:
Chinese systems divide energy into several categories, each with specific qualities (earth chi, heavenly chi, solar/lunar chi,...).
NEW-System seems to consider only one kind. How is this difference possible ?
3) conc. COLORED ENERGY:
An analog question concerns colors. Some systems (such for example PRANIC HEALING are very meticulous about the different colors and the effects they produce (for ex. blue for desinfecting and calming, green for cleaning and eliminating,...) In the tutorial, Robert advises to add color to increase the effectiveness but leaves the choice of the color to the practitioner.
Has anyone further experience with NEW combined with colors ?
