it's possible but can be also a deja vue (when you remember something)
i can hear sometimes sounds/toughts that are coming 3-7 seconds later, clairaudiene/voyance is fun!

You could be right but only time will tell.  The full truth of the matter may not be revealed to you until a later date when this person may appear to you again. You may have to withhold your judgement until that time when more data is available to you.

Hi lucifer,

This topic seemed better suited to our Welcome to General Metaphysics forum so here is where it now resides. If you disagree please PM me and we'll try to work something out.

If it happened while you were going to sleep, it was most likely a piece of hypnagogic imagery.  It's slightly related to clairvoyance, because you see the image on your "vision screen," which is where clairvoyants see energy and images, etc.  It's a common occurrence when you're drifting between awake and asleep.  It's kind of like you're beginning to dream before you're completely out; similar to being in a trance state.  The image itself is most likely from your memory somewhere, bubbling up from your subconscious to make an appearance.

I have not much to contribute to this post, only that when I'm almost falling asleep I start seeing the most weirdest thing, mostly I see a huge forest, very clear, a forest where I've never been. Then I start travelling, can better say flying, through it.. I think that's just a part of my imagination, imagination always acts up when nearly falling asleep.

Also, a deja-vu is not exactly a memory. :) What a deja vu exactly is is still being discussed. To people who have never heard of it before: A deja-vu is having the strong feeling you already experienced a certain event. Ironic enough I'm now having a deja-vu; I have the feeling I once wrote the very same post. Pretty weird feeling and very irritating. Scientists says a deja-vu is triggered by a memory similar to the event in question. I believe that, but I also believe a deja-vu can be related to a forgotten Precognitiondream. Perhaps I dreamt this post once, but forgat about it, which now triggers the deja-vu. ^.^

what ?! Finally the asnwer i was looking for, a long of time ago !! "hypnagogic imagery. It's slightly related to clairvoyance, because you see the image on your 'vision screen,' which is where clairvoyants see energy and images" Finally!! Even tough you weren't saying that to me, it answer a question i was making a long time ago. Long time ago i was maded a kind of connection between both things, but i was never sure. It maked sense that when using clairvoyance we would see images exactly like in the same place and ways than hypnagogic imagery, but i never found any website talking about this connecion. The most surprising, is that it's you again Cruel Tendencies, but please reply this.

Also tell me is there a way to CONTROL hypnagogic imagery ? Or that is called clairvoyance?

Yes, i also do have hypnagogic imagery (altough not everynight), and it's very cool, if clairvoyance can be used to see remote places like this, then clairvoyance is indeed a very cool and usefull skill, the problem is HOW to develop clairvoyance.

volcomstone

hypagognic, thats what i think i experience
its not a really defined picture kinda blurry, like auric sight

and sounds seem to like up to pictures, or thought forms

seem to be very chaotic and no message but sometimes you'll have a sudden epiphany about human nature or somthing else
opinions are like kittens, just give 'em away

Cruel Tendencies

We control the imagery we see all the time - it's just our imagination.  The vision screen, as Robert Bruce calls it, is energetic, and can be built up by working on the brow chakra.  The reason we see it so clearly when falling asleep is that our conscious, waking-state minds usually have priority over the energetic, subconscious images we develop on the screen.  There's a lot of "static" and a big difference between what we can see with our physical eyes and what we can visualize.

When you're on the verge of falling asleep, you're momentarily going into a trance.  Purposely accessing a trance state (where your body goes to sleep but your mind is awake) gives you better access to clairvoyant and subconscious abilities.

okay one day before i went to bed i saw out of nowwhere a girl in my head. as of now i don't remember her exact facial features or the background of the image all i remember the main colors but any i don't think i know/knew her or have ever met her so what the heck, i thought this could be related to clairvoyance. what do you all think of this?
