I was in the bath and very relaxed....I have white tiles and put my hand up against them... It took me some time but finally I started to see a bright blue light glowing from around my fingers, coming and going, I focused hard but at the same time being very relaxed.......after about 2 minutes of concentrating on seeing the Aura out the side of my eyes the room started changing colours... getting dark and light every 2 seconds, then i could look directly around the room and my wall which is Pink started changing colours like orange, yellow.....
I'm thinking that this is problem with my eyes that after staring at something to long this happens, but then again I'm not absolutely sure..
Any one else had this experience ??

Some strange things happen if you stare off for too long, or look at things a certain way... I havnt seen any walls change colors yet but what i have seen or at least i think i have seen after staring at a wall is kind of like a swirl of colors that make up a round ball. The wierd part is that if i close my eyes it is still there, so i think that might be a picture of the third eye, although i really dont know. Have you seen anything like that? Im interested in what others think that maybe.
If you will it it is no dream.

Ive noticed when I stare at something for a while, everything becomes very weird, it only works in higly relaxed states, its like an mushroom trip!

Ive also noticed this happening when focusing on my hands etc, they can diapeer all together and its like the lights are slowly phasing on and offf, its weird.

anyway im not sure if everyone is able to do that, but ive spoken with some of my friends (who don't do new, or any thing close)
they say if they lie back and stare at their ceiling eventually they see colours.

maybe that'll shed sum light
opinions are like kittens, just give 'em away

One thing that bothers me about looking at an aura against a white background like that is that you are just seeing the complimentary color to the object you are looking at.  Thats just caused by the juxtaposition of the two colors as percieved by your eye.

I thought seeing a real aura was the actual presence of the energy field around the body... or does doing this excercise prepare your eyes for viewing the true aura?

I haven't lost my mind, I've backed it up somewhere...
