Electrokinetic newbie seeks guiding hand!

Hi Crystalinity,

I've moved this topic into General Metaphysics as, although it could be a result of extensive energy body development, it is in itself not an energy body topic.

I have no info I can offer you. I'm assuming that electrokinesis is to do with control over electricity. Could you please expand on this a bit more so that we know what you already understand of it. That way you might get some more input.

Electrokinesis? ... I've never heard of that.

However, I -have- heard of something called Technesis, which is pretty much the ability to control electrical appliances (and computers, et cetera). Is this what you are referring to?

That does sound quite a bit like technesis, though that site's adivce should likely worry you. Trying that, will most likely just give you a nice brain-frying. The meditation, is good advice, but frankly....sticking your finger in an electrical socket is just stupid, who would actually suggest that o.o;? If you really are interested in attempting to further develop any ability you have in that, then likely, the best thing to do is to practice it through appliances instead, trying to alter clock times works especially well for practices. Or if there is a storm, concentrate on the lightning and thunder and see if you can catch the patterns in the timing of them. After a while, see if you can predict the patterns changes, or even change them yourself. Though, the ability itself actually isn't one that most would actually strive towards developing, due to some of the drawbacks (such as risk of electrocuting one's self, or burning yourself out, energy-wise.)

Easy electrokinesis in 3 simple steps:
1) Put on pair of wooly socks
2) Rub feet vigourously on carpet
3) Stick finger at metal object, animals, siblings etc. Electrical spark will form instantly. [8D]

Oh and btw, getting zapped by electrical outlets will not give you special powers, if you haven't gathered that already. If it did, then, well, I'd be special![]

Doing this metaphysically is a bit different. Meditate a lot, like they said, and do a lot of energy work. www.psipog.org is good for this, I reccomend a lot of people there (heh the admin is going to be ticked at me for overdoing their bandwith) And just try and form a spark between your fingers, then move to bigger things.

OK, I would like to learn electrokenisis, but it's surprising how few decent sites there are.  I think the most interesting one I've found is one which says to meditate for half an hour and stick your fingers in an electricity socket [xx(].  If anyone could help me along here, I would be very grateful...  If you could help, please email me here.  I have MSN Messenger, AIM and YIM.
