For those people, I offer the higher quality 117 mb video (same video shrunk to) 4.3 mb, still higher quality, and with more proof that its real.

volcomstone

dear god man, isn't 117 mb a bit like overkill?

For something that could change your life (if you thought paranormal stuff didnt exist), an 8 hour download is not excessive.

volcomstone

I suppose so, but video's can lie, and to the super skeptic will most likely claim the video has been altered etc etc

anyhow, i got a good Tk excercise it involves these "touchable bubbles"  which are essentially plastic bubbles that you can find at  (almost) any dollar store (here in ottawa anyway).  They last for up to 9 hours, and once they "solidify" in the air they won't pop when  they land on stuff

they are real fun to use as you can move them in 3 dimensions,
its fun to just "stop" the bubble in the air and watch the colours of the filmy bubble just change and ooze, its rather psychadelic

another thing to do is put targets around your room and attempt to direct them to various targets (psy-wheels make good targets)

im currently trying to make the bubbles expand and compress, or even touch in the air and stick together,

I suggest you go buy some

yea super skeptical kinda denies the possibility of such a thing being a natural occurance and that kinda attitude, SUCKS![:(!] but some skepticism is good because youd be surprised at the length people would go to promote themselves or to get attention; deliberately lying about paranormal stuff. I guess it depends on the person who is claiming to have paranormal abilities motive's too. Magicians can do telekinesis with magnets, in fact some of the videos ive seen saying they are telekinesis ive emulated to the tee by putting a magnet under the table or whatever surface the object is being moved on . that doesnt mean that they arnt genuine, but it is an alternative explaination to those who are horribly skeptical or cant do it themselves.

ill play with it[:)]. ive gotten reasonable results with a pinwheel, but it is soo exhuasting concentrating like that and usually take a while, maybe 30-40 minutes before i can get any movement that isnt due to environmental factors. one thing that i have found that helps is to give the pinwheel a little push, inertia says it should stop, or at least slow down but not keep moving at a steady rate( even if it is slow)!
If you will it it is no dream.

I'm just curious though.  Tossing all paranormal thinking aside, and putting your skeptics hat on, how can you explain what we see in Beavis' TK video?

The pinwheel is enclosed in a sealed container, and the thing slowly starts spinning from a stopped position.

The only "skeptical" explanation I can think of (and a ridiculous one at that), is that perhaps the enclosure only LOOKS sealed.  Perhaps a fan or something nearby is moving it, due to tiny holes in the plastic enclosure.

Otherwise, I'm just curious, how would a skeptic explain what you see on that video clip?

I cant prove there arent VERY tiny holes in the box, but I can prove the box is closed and there is no fan. The higher quality video also has an extra minute where I examine the box, without ever pointing the camera away from it.

wow thats rather strange, i can simply look at the psi wheel and itll start spinning from a full stop position, when I wake up in the morning i can llook at my desk and the 10+ psi wheels, and without expectation they begin to spin, i also think they spin when im sleeping,
of course this is on a pinwheel thats not in a sealed container,

ive had mixed results while using a pinwheel in a closed container, it seems harder for me, but still possible, i initially learned tk by blowing on the psi wheel and continually changing its direction by my breath,
eventuall itll change direction without blowing on it

I personally haven't downloaded his video, but someone skilled at stop motion photography could do it, also electromagnets could be used

As a previous hardcore skeptic, I thought of that. Magnets dont move aluminum foil. At the end of the video, my hand can be seen moving while the psi wheel is moving, and there is some stuff on the lid of the box that would be hard to reposition, so stop-motion would be incredibly hard.

Logic

Just put a television show on in the background, or have some household pet in the picture, that way you can atleast authenticate that your not using stop-motion =p
We are not truly lost, until we lose ourselves.

Nagual

Give up on the idea to prove it is or isn't fake; look at the crazy stuff magicians can do in front of our eyes...

It's not really a skepticism problem; but rather a trust problem...
Just try to do it by yourself...

PS: No offense beavis; I am not saying it is fake or you cannot be trusted...  Just saying that there is no real way to tell.  Unless the fake is badly faked.
If electricity comes from electrons, does morality come from morons?

beavis

Even if I cant prove its real, the existance of the video is more reason for skeptics to think telekinesis exists, and that was why I made it.

Buffnewt

Hey Beavis, what is that foil spinning on top of? Also why do you have foil on the bottom? Is that foil holding the stick thing up? I am just curious

beavis

Its a knife with foil crushed onto the bottom to stand it up. The same kind of knife is stuck through the toothpaste box.

dreamosis

I just watched the TK video...way to go, Beavis.

Aphex-twin

Beavis your the man.Whatch how many people are probabley gonna be stil so skeptical and saying thats fake.
