it might be that you are loosing sensation in your hands, which would cause them to feel like they are floating [|)]. i've felt that before with my hands and my legs, and i'm pretty sure it's normal.

This is quite common. But the difference is that depending on how
you decide to judge this occurance (floating feeling in the hands),
certain results will follow.
for instance...
one might meditate and experience their limbs going numb (respect-
ivly your hands)and then come to the conclusion that this is
"normal" and they leave it at that.
a person who thinks very clearly will have the same occurance but
a different conclusion. The clear-thinking individual will under-
stand that "It"(He or She)does not feel anything in their hands
for the fact that one has no hands, no body, he or she is spirit
within The largest body of spiritual enrgy, within itself (the universe, or "creation")therefore, the person understands the
ultimate truth, that we are one and that all we need to do is but
think a thought and accompany that thought with total sincerity.

I have felt this also in my hands. Some people might say that this is because you can feel your astral body, (or your energy body) that was certainly my assumption.

In my experience the arms and legs are loose, so if they felt like they were floating then it was probably your astral consciousness in the arms.
