try training in different yoga forms (especially Raja yoga) and tai chi, not to mention kung fu or another form of physical martial art.  When you are at least 60 and have mastered clearing the mind will yourself to do it.  Simple as that.  I use the word simple very loosely.

I haven't ever met anyone who has levitated, but I have read about it in some books written by different yogi.  The author claimed to be over a hundred years old and he looked in his mid 60's in the picture I saw.  I don't know if it is real, but if it is, the book claimed that to attain such control and skill takes close to a lifetime to develop.[?]  Oh well.  Good luck.

I hate to be a stickler for the rules being as how I think that many of them are crap but I still feel an obligation to point it out that in the policy you view during the registration process it clearly states that you must be 13 years or older to join this forum.  I feel that I need to at least point it out to the mods and admin that this site according the the FAQ complies with the COPPA regulation which means that if the parents of any child under the age of 13 joins an online community with out their consent when the site knows that the child is underage the parents can take legal action against the site.

I realize that is a load of humbo-jumbo but I still think that Adrian needs to be aware of it so that he can take appropriate actions.  I now it is incredibly unlikely although with the incident with the parent coming here concerned for her daughters health not to long ago I guess it is not that big of a stretch. I would still hate it if anything happened to this site over something as silly as this.  I have nothing against you kibeginners nightmare but you knowingly or not put this site in an awkward situation.

Thanks for the input folks []. As kakkarot and Links Shadow already made some good points, I will only add that the author of this topic is no longer a member of this forum.

Certainly Adrian and we mods appreciate the members who use the forum appropriately. We do our best to keep things running smoothly although things do get sticky at times.

Check out the book Levitation by Steve Richards, it is a giude giving various methods of instruction, but it aint easy. Plus you could get into various kinds of magick dealing with summoning spirits, some of which can teach you how to do this. See Summoning Spirits by Konstantinos.

Also, Aleister Crowley's instruction on Pranayama eventually results in this, see Gems from the Equinox, or Magick. Patanjali and/or other yoga sources mention it as a magickal power developed through various yogic disaplines. Again, see Steve Richard's book Levitaiton, and possibly his other book Invisability.

Good call.  This topic has been around since JULY 23rd of last year.  This guy has since left (Forcibly or willingly, I don't know).  He caused a ruckus and that ended.
