WHY ? Are they still here.

From my limited understanding of the "spirit world" I conclud that the people that do not go on to heven or hell(which are just as temporary as the physical plane) are attached to this world too much and they wish to remain here or their death shock is too much to overcome.

There are more and more people and so more people stay here. Also becouse there are more people more sightings are reported and recorded.

What if they commited serious sins, shouldn't they be punished
by God.

I dont think God punishes anyone.
Hell is nothing, it is an absenc of everything. If you dont feel Love you are in Hell, it is becouse of our actins that we turn away from Love, from God. So God does not punish anyone, they punish themselvs even if they dont think they do.

Thank you for giving me your honest opinion, it is a shame that
so many people believe difrently.

I wish everyone would think of it that way, but unfortunately
not everyone is open minded as people on this website it's
truly a shame.

The spirit world overlaps ours. Often they are where they are supposed to be, however, often times the veils are pulled back.

I recall one time when I saw a couple of spirits seated in the process of having drinks. They turned and saw me, one made the sign of the croass and they were agitated. They soon faded out. Perhaps in some other realm two people were spooked by what they thought was a ghost(me). LOL!

As far as punishnment, I wonder if sometimes we punish ourselves.

There is so much more to learn about ourselves, our true potential
as humans. No one can really explain life after death unless they've
interviwed a spirit, and yet we believe that there is something out
there, a different relam or a pathway to heavens where we meet our dead family members.

I belive in afterlife because I know there is alot more we don't know
and that we can only be taught more in the afterlife.

I think some believe in afterlife because of fear of nonexistence,
fear of becoming nothing.

i wasn't sure if there was an afterlife or not until i had my first OBE, and after that i was sure there was something more... i mean, i can't come up with an alternate explanation of an OBE that is convincing to me other than what it is: your spirit leaving your body.  bluntly put, yes, but nevertheless...

Why are there so many reports of hauntings,and spirits caught on tape?
Shouldn't they be in hell or heaven? Why do they stay among us or how?
