hmmm, mildly interesting topic, based on an obvious US orientated viewpoint of course.

Its always the same routine at the start of the year, the doom mongers are out in force.. every single year without fail, its the end of the world! Some people are so obsessed with Christian apocalyptic mythology, even if they dont realise it, especially in the US.
Careful though, individuals who are obsessed with such things often try to bring them about themselves, resulting in a self fulfilling prophesy... imagine that on a country-wide level!

Well when it comes to life smacking you around, I can say I have gotten my share.  I mean I am practically homeless.  If that is not getting knocked around I don't know what is.  At least with a war there is a common vision and it unifies nations.  Disagree with that I will show you history.

Khuli. May I ask how it is that you are "practically" homeless?
Are you sleeping on the street? Where are you? Do you have a place to stay warm at night?

Sometimes I have a place to stay but most of the time I don't.

Khuli, are there many resources for the homeless where you live? Have you been able to stay somewhat clean so that you can get job interveiws?

I used to be homeless, was for a year, never want to repeat that. But for every homeless person that is able to pull themselves up out of the muck there are dozens who resign themselves to that kind of life.

If you have nothing holding you there in that area then you can move to where there are resources. I won't bother asking about family since I know many younger people are homeless because it's preferable to living with family.

Are there enough soup kitchens and things like that? Is it a high state trooper area. I found that often the people homeless have to worry the most about are pigs...err...cops. I've seen cops literally hunt certain homeless people and cause them to become felons. One girl I knew was squeaky clean till two crooked cops pegged her.

Do you have some plans for getting out of the situation, I know it's hard to plan when you're focused on day to day eating and sleeping.
I know lots of homeless in my area sleep in the nearby woods and in places not patrolled by state sponsored gestapo.

What is your True Will? Crowleys the Book of The Law is a good resource for self discovery, get one that has commentaries though.
You definitly have some possibilities, just get past fear nad if you want to talk in detail about it feel free to do so.

Hey thanks for the concern xander but I am fine.  I don't need soup kitchens or anything like that I don't get hassled by the cops.  I am actually getting a place in a week or two.  My friend and I am moving into an apartment.  I am sorry if I portrayed myself as being down on my luck as it were.  I was only stating that I am homeless right now and it has only been for a little while.  So I am still alright in my present situation.

#1. George Bush will win the next election.
#2. The Israelis will become more oppressive towards the Palestinians.
#3. A Nuke of some sort will go off in the middle east.
#4. Civil war will break out in the U.S. tween those who love freedom and the Govt forces.
#5. Even more rights will be ripped away in the name of security.
#6. The stupid terror alert chart will stay on HIGH for at least a couple more months.
#7. Bin Laden will be trotted out shortly before the presidential elections.
#8. Another Mad Cow will be found in the U.S.
#9. There will be a natural disaster in the U.S. possibly a volcanic eruption or earthquake of magnitude 9.
#10. There will be military action along the borders as the govts suspects large groups of terroists moving in through mexico.
#11. Al-Quaeda will start recruiting in mexico and other countries south of the border.
#12. News of disease and sickness will hit the airwaves putting large people into a panic, as usual the media is making people hysterical.
#13. There will be another attack on the U.S. later they will find the culprits had ties to high level officials.

I hope none of these gets me a knock at the door by the MIB.

My scrying technique was looking into a mirror flanked by candles and asking "god" to show me the year. I saw images, some of these hopefully won't happen. I did see a few things which I won't post as the likelihood is low. I did the LBRP before and after the working.
