I see the future sometimes, but usually only a few seconds ahead, and never anything important. Sometimes I know when my microwave is about to beep. A few days ago, I dreamed my computer got a virus. A day or 2 after that, lots of stuff crashed on my computer and I had to reinstall windows.

I am still trying to controlt this, I am getting OBEs everyday and I am trying to clarify the fragments into video.

But so far, Most of it has happened.

-- Given some expensive software free.
-- Given a certain video game free.
-- Experienced the "kinesis'"
-- Got some books I wanted, free.
-- some other stuff, im too lazy to tell.

I believe the phenomena of dèjá vú can be categorised into two distinct types:

1)Something happens, and then you could swear you have seen it before

This one is the more enigmatic of the two and is either very weak precognition or just some bad wiring upstairs. This one is also very common.

2)Something happens, you swear you have seen it before, but at the same time, you think of something MORE happening, and it happens.

This is closer to precognition than the other one, and less enigmatic. For example, I walk into a room and somebody says something. I feel that I have heard her say the same thing before, and I also think/know that someone else in the room will say something. Lo and behold, he says it. This can continue, but I suspect that going "Woah! Déjà Vú!" can screw it up. This one isn't very common for me so I can't really toy with it.

As for seeing the future, the astral planes are timeless, so it doesn't surprise me that you could be able to see past, present, and future at the same time, eventually even in the physical world.

In dreams sometimes I see the future. It is either some kind of detailed picture (like a flash), or it is lasting a bit longer like a very short movie/dream, or it is like a real dream (but does not need to be interpreted as it is straightforward) or it is a very specific dream that need interpretation. All are always related to catastrophs in the world, wars, terrorism, etc... Here are a few example:

- I had a dream where I was listening to the radio in my car, the comentator was in a remote country (I remember the name starting and ending with the sound A) and he was talking about a few hundred deads, due to a bomb. A few days later the bombing in Indonesia that killed 200 people happened and I learned it while listening to the radio in my car. The comentator was talking from Australia (I am in the US, so it is  remote for us).

- In a dream I see corpses laying on the floor in their blood, or I see raw meat, it is always a premonition of a deadly terrorist attack in Israel.

- I had a dream of devastation that look like an earthquake. I did not suspect it was an earthquake but rather I though it might be due to an explosion, a terrorist attack, as the media was talking at that time about possible attacks in US. I posted in the prophecy forum of AP as an Attack on Washington. Then I realised it was the eartquake in Iran, preceeded a few days before by an earthquake in Paso Robles (california) - there were two scenes of devastation in my dreams, both looked like earthquake. see the link:

http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=9540

as you can easily understand the interpretation, date and location of the vision is not always straightforward.

I also posted something about Saddam being caught on that same forum. So it seems that seeing into the future is a "normal" ability (?), once you are in the astral.

Hi,
I have to say what Shaman says is true for me too. The flashes don't have to be during dreaming. The flashes appear as light flash, but they can also be seen a an opening of a portal for an instant, a clear crystal-like film sometimes.Usually this occurs during resting or getting ready to drift off to sleep. One instant for me was seeing my car sitting out in the bright sunlight. A voice said,"What's wrong with the gasoline?" The next time I went to start my car, it didn't. I didn't think about my flash of insight until my neighbor helped me get my car started again that day. Later I realized that the answer to my car problem was given to me.The car's carburator was stuck. Due to the gummy build up, and the low gas levels I was driving on contributed to the problem.

Interesting... although some will argue that since attacks and killings  occur in Israel/Palestine, Iraq, N Ireland, Republic of Congo (where over two million have died over the past 10 to 20 years without much notice from the west, probably because there is no oil there), Sudan etc, on a regular basis, it is not suprising that if you dream about a generic bomb blast or killing, you won't have to look very far to find it, also, if you dwell on such thoughts, even if only on a subconscious level, thse images will turn up in your dreams from time to time.

Just a thought, although at the same time, maybe you DO perceive possible future events!

Wisp, I am familiar with this effect as it is the early stages of the phasing process. It is possible to experience this level of consciousness when just drifting in or out of sleep. This level, which manifests as an 'astral cinema screen' effect is what Monroe would refer to as 'Focus 12'.

Some people spend ages meditating trying to bring on the screen effect but I often just experience it when I got to sleep or wake up.
The astral screen is a vision of some place in the astral. To those who have experienced this effect, you will know what I am talking about when I say it is ULTRA-realistic, more than a 3D moving image. You can just sit and watch what is going on or you can take the next step which is to *will* yourself (you/ your mind) forward into the scene. You will find yourself moving INTO the scene and into the astral itself; well done, you are now someplace in the astral!

This is the phasing process, as described by Monroe, Frank and others who practice this form of astral projection which sends you directly INTO the astral world.

Since the akashic records (records of all past events and projections of possible future events based on what has come before) are said to reside on the astral some where, it doesnt suprise me that some people get flashes of such events, which are played out in some region of the astral, which is what you are tapping into in your 'visions'.
Remember however, that the records are 'possible futures' and are subject to change depending on circumstances, so for this reason not all visions turn out to be accurate. This is why prophets' predictions do not always turn out to be correct, as something unforseen comes along aftewards and changes circumstances. eg I actually have a lot of respect for seers like Nostradamus, I know that some people give him some grief, but I think he saw things accuratly from where he was, although things have occured since which changed the future as he saw it. The individual who experienced the visions that inspired 'Revelations' in the bible is another case in point, as they are based very much in the world of his own time (imo, these visions were refering metaphorically to the fall of Rome, which is somewhat ironic seeing that its the Roman empire who was responsible for taking christianity and transforming it into the world religion we all know today!!! but that story belongs in another forum!)

Ok, thats my rant over! But wisp, try to use this effect next time to enter the scene yourself and see what happens!

Hi Gandalf,
Thanks for the info. I've been reading some of Frank's posts lately. There are some interestings things he talks about. I just might try to jump into an astral scene sometime[:)]. First, I would like to find out more about what he has said about melting. So far I haven't found that particular material(mentioned in the Where's Frank in Astral Chat). I suspect what he called melting is what I call regression. I've already had an interesting result from his technique on calling a guide.
I believe Shaman does have a knack for seeing the future. I don't think I could deal with that, but it's good that there are some who can.

I see the furture alot. Most of my life is deja vu, but seems I haven't taken the time to right down my dreams, that is how it stays that way. Now I get two types of visions of the future, the first is in dreams, some I remember others I don't. For example I remember a dream where I was yelling at this guy in a place I did not know and was very angry with him, and I rarely, rarely get angry. A year later I moved in with that guy but didn't realize it was him. about 5 months later that same incident happened and it freaked me out because I remembered that dream with the same moment. If I would have written down my dreams and started recording stuff to remember more, I might have prevented that from ever happening. Another time that sticks out most was right before the elections for when bush got elected. I had a dream he won the election and started what I said was ww3 with the middle east, and this would all start by an attack on our land. I told people this and sure enough Bush got elected and then he started not ww3 but I guessed there, but a war with Iraq and that till this day has still shocked all my friends. Then I get stupid stuff like my sister breaking up with her b/f and I am like didn't need to know that. The other type of visions I get is like what I call warning visions. Sometimes not enough ti help me totally, but I will see what is bad that is going to happen right before it does, now the most time I get is like 10 minutes and the least is a few seconds, but it has saved me alot. I have found when I am tired and too distracted it helps me the least, and they come barely in time, however when my mind is actually clear, I get them way ahead of time. Hope this adds to the discussion. However I have another question, if my lack of stopping things from happening or changing what I saw the lack of me writting down and remembering them correctly or are they really just set in stone as some people say. thanks.

I am not going to say that I see into the future, but I will say that during my OBE experiences I see things that I either want to come true, or that I KNOW will come true. More than this though...I have been able to FEEL when something important is going to happen. Not just minor feelings but major heart-stopping emotions about it. Most times it really hurts. Do other people get the same feelings or is this just me?

That's no surprise in regards to Windows. [:o)]

As for me seeing the future. Only at few and far between occasions. Last the thought of one of the guys I share an appartment with coming back from being away from a few days entered my head. Lo and behold, he did just a few moments after.

I also have Deja vu rather frequently.

LOL wanted to post the same joke [xx(] [:P]

Anyway, i would like to add some information on the "déjà-vu" phenomenon. I happen to work closely a few years ago with some scientists specialised in neurology in an university of my city (Lyon, France), who were studying those experiences on human subjects. In fact they happen to discover a few weeks after i talked with them that the "déjà-vu" was caused by an "error" in the brain while recording the events, and (roughly said) the scene viewed by the subject was placed in the "old memory" part instead of "very recent memory", which caused this effect of thinking "hey, i'm sure i've already seen this" but without knowing exactly when, just a feeling. So we canno't take it as precog [;)]

However, i've never seen the future whilst OBEing personnaly [:(] Wish i could, would be helpful hehe [^]

Exactly the same thing has happened with me on at least 2 occasions, each time I have been amazed. The most recent was a good few years back, when I "saw" a glass full of water about to get knocked over in our kitchen. The event occurred seconds later, exactly as I had seen it.

But I'd forgotten about this until reading your post.

ok well i have a question sometimes i have "deja vu" but  unless i actually look into it i wont notice it but there was this one time that in the deja vu someone was wearing a blue shirt but in real life the person was wearing red anyway the person got something spiled on them later on in the day and they had to switch shirts and it was the exact same shirt i saw  i wsa just wondering is the second type of deja vu people are talking about?

yothu

what twstedrage wrote sounds very familiar to me. when I was 12 I could make certain predictions that would turn out to be true, but that was intuition. Later on I had dreams which were to happen in reality later, sometimes the period between the dream and the manifesting reality was months if not years. When it, the future I had previewed in my dreams, actually happened I had always a very strong feeling of a déjà-vu. I can remember dreams in which I realized that what I am seeing has not yet actually become reality and of course I wanted to remember that dream. It was kind of a lucid dream for I was looking for some "sign" (eg. some brand name that did not exist at realtime) to remember as proof. But I never succeeded in remembering any of those dreams until they became reality. I thought that it is 'forbidden' for me to remember. In these déjà-vu situations I often have the impression of having seen my body and myself from outside with some other's eyes. As if I had shared their vision and thoughts for a while. When such a dream is going on in realtime I have a feeling of being connected with everyone else in my immediate vicinity and so are they with me. People often tell me that their déja-vu experiences increase when they are in my presence.

Today it occurs to me that I see "short-films" of an imminent future, thus giving me the possibility to make better choices. Sometimes I only hear a whispering in my mind that tells me what's going to happen. Eg. at occasions I knew what was going to be the next song played on the radio, when a train or bus will arrive at a station etc. I haven't won in the lottery yet though... ;)

On most days it is my intuition that guides me. There is rarely a day when I REALLY get surprised by anything.

All the best

Ive had some experiences where i think the phone is ringing and it isnt, and when i go to check the caller id it starts ringing. Also sometimes ive had the feeling that someone is a paticular friend is about to call me and it happens. Its weird stuff.

majour ka

I hear the phone ring before it rings, think about people just before they text me alot, etc etc,

But the real stuff that I see, can be rather unerving and nothing can prepare you for it, ive seen people taken to hospital, terrorist attacks, horse races [:)] lol, loadsa stuff!
Some of its hard because Im racking my brains trying to decide what to do about it some times! im thinking I must have had this message for a reason etc etc.
I saw two events in one go, one was a peacful protest but still set alot of alarms ringing the other was BAD!! I phoned the aprropriate people (felt a bit strange calling and saying ive just a vision lol!! [:o)]). the protest thingy made front page british news and the evening news, the other didnt happen...so may be I helped?

During OBE, yep...fragments and images of the future, tested to be sure. [:D][:D][:D][:D][:D][:D][:D][:D][:D][:D][:D][:D][:D][:D]

Have you guys seen the future??
