knowing your path

I am really sorry to hear that you experienced such hardship in your life.  I hope you are experiencing better times now.

As to having that sense of a destiny.  I have had that experience as well.  It didn't come in some enormous way, just little things over the years, that have accumulated to indicate that there is something I am meant to be doing here.  I have been told by someone who is rather powerful with psychic, clairvoyant type abilities and without my asking about this, that if I opened to it and changed some things in my life, I had the potential to do spiritual/psychic things on a grand scale.  It was something of a shock to hear.

The thing though is to remember the words 'that if I opened to it and changed some things in my life'.  I think we all have the potential to be great but fear hinders us.  We hold on to what we know and brings comfort to our egos.  I am 40 now and can feel the passage of time and in a sense a bit of shame that I didn't have the courage to let go to that force or potential.  Don't do the same yourself.  Don't let a minute escape.  If you have a hint that Life wants more from you, then go for it.

atalanta-I would have to agree with you.time flies faster every year-so fast that sometimes I'll remember something that I wanted to do/learn about 5 years ago,but time just slips away.

the FEAR blockage is/can be very powerful.I'm just now trying to gain some sort of control over my destiny,trying to destroy the fear that has controlled me for years,keeping me from following my own path.

I'm learning that it takes courage to follow 'the path with heart'.

Your right in that when people have and know the purpose of their life it becomes easier to live. I would say that most people don't know their purpose and get sidetracked doing what others want them to do.

It almost seems like Neo in the matrix movies where he has glimpses of what is to come but doesn't know or understand the path which he must choose if that explains it more.

I would definately agree with that. I mean part of the stuff I am doing is for me, but how much do I do that makes me sidetracked that is for a job I don't want and doing stuff for others? It's alot when you take a look at it.

Definetely. After my spiritual awakening I now realise my purpose in this life. I can say that it will be a major position that will assist humanity through hardships and the establishment of a new social order.

This might sound like a brag, but its not. After thousands of years on this planet, incarnating for various reasons so that I could finally achieve this one goal in this life, I am aware that the time is upon me.

People have destiny in that they choose what their lives will do or undertake or go through before they incarnate, but the path we take to achieve our purpose is up to us.

I also believe that "what happens, happens - and happens for a reason" and this explains the Guiding variable (spirit guides, guardian spirits, etc.) that guide and assist us through integral decision making processes.

I dont really believe in destiny, but I can see the future.
