Spirit Guides: Is there really such a thing?

I'm not sure if I believe in them or not, but most of the info I have read seems too make sense too me. I think maybe you shuld ask in the communication area though, I'm not sure if this post fits in with psychic self defense, but good questions !

The reason I placed this in psychic self-defense is because I suspect these guides might be trickster spirits or some other type of negatives.

If they are not some type of evil spirit,then they are doing a hell of a terrible job.

Anyhow I will copy and paste and put this in communications and see.

oh I see. how do they trick people ?

They tell you something that is supposed to happen two years down the road,and it doesn't come to pass even after you do the stuff they tell you to do to help it to happen.
That is tricking somebody into believing something.

Then when I ask them for predictions a week from now they do not answer. I do not expect dramatic predictions. Just something small to give me validation.

I no longer trust spirits who appear in human form.

I have been approached by spirit guides,and these guides always assume human form.

They said they would help me to do certain things. I think that is fine,but as far as I can tell they are not doing a thing.

When I worked hard,using Robert's trance techniques, is when I got a breakthrough,and yet when I  listened to those spirits none of what they claimed they would help me with ever came to pass. I did my best to make a connection and to do what needed to be done.

The future is not completely set in stone,but a person's past actions and work carve out that person's future.

I have tried to communicate with them by asking questions,and I get no response whatsoever from them. I have been told,by a psychic, I am not opened enough to hear them ,but I think that's bull.
The act of going into trance or deep meditation should be enough to open up,and it is when I am in these states that I try to communicate with them.

I have also been told I am currently fighting with my guides. Maybe I have good reason to since noting they helped me with ever came to pass.
