You probably pushed around your blood up into your head when you did this. It is a little stressful on the physical body when you do sudden energy work like this. I suggest a little more patience with forcing your body to do something, such as taking more time with it.

Plus, you may have just thought you were dizzy, because some of the feelings you get in your gut are sick, stomach turning feeling if you do things properly when you're not expecting them or unready for them. You also have the option to keep on doing such excersizes and trying to look past the dizziness for the greater rewards.

PS- Do you like the taste of electricity?

For energy work, it's weird you nearly threw up ! I believe your chakras weren't ready for this. It might indicate that you need to develop your energy body better before doing chakra work. Raising energy is extremely powerful, and the more you do the more you want to do, for you feel so good afterwards (even better after a few months as your energy body is stabilised by the removing of big blockages and the fact that your sub-navel center is starting to really pump energy). I usually do it for about 2h (average) each day, wherever i am. But even 10min/day is really good if you can do it. It's really worth the effort !

PS : your proverb could be translated like this : "Amare et facere propter vitam" or "Amare et facere vita". Quod can indeed be translated as "because" though but not here

When I power up I don't use physical tension at all, quite the contrary, I try to be as relaxed as possible and then I just start sucking the power in.

It is very hard to explain how I do it because it just happens,
the only thing that comes near is flying or levitating or telekinesis in your dreams. Atleast that is how it feels for me. I'm still wondering if I could really levitate with mastering that same feeling

Sometimes I get goosebumps all over myself when I do this

thanks for replying... i know i should work on my shakras cuz the best ive done are ki balls... i cant even manipulate them yet so maybe i pushed hard on my self... i really really tensed my muscles and i can't seem to get energy without it... im sure there was physical things goin on but i did feel energy in my mouth and around my body was tingling. Anyways, thanks a lot for clearing things up. Ima start reading NEW now... thanks again guys

Haha, today's a new day, and i powered up again. I'm pretty sure its a power up. I still tensed my muscles but i made sure i was breathing this time. i did not get as dizzy but i felt that taste of electricity again in my mouth and felt it all over my body. then I attempted to make a psi ball and it came very quickly. I comopressed it with both my hands and they became hot and very tingly as i approached them together.

Anyways, i hate tried to do it without tensing, but i can't. I don't know why. Can someone teach me?

Well the raising of energy gives the sensation that you are at the very limit of tensing your muscles, but there as still relaxed. You feel the nerves in your body having some kind of electric sensation while the energy is getting up. Try to reproduce the sensation of bending your muscles at their max, but without actually doing it, just the "inner sensation" of the act. I think it'll work and you will do it well after when seeing what is needed.

Well the sub-navel in itself doesn't pump anything, but you can apply a pumping movement to it nevertheless. However what i meant by "pump" is that at first, when doing energy raising in the first months, you use more energy for the awareness actions on the energy body and the removal of blockages than you store in your sub-navel. For me, for example, i only began feeling clearly the energy entering and filling my sub-navel after about 8 or 9 months of daily energy work (1-2h/day)... That's huge i know, but it takes a great amount of time to do it well indeed.

The primary chakras are most of the time almost inactive at a normal level of consciouness. But with some work on them you can make them to grow, as muscles, and even almost inactive work a lot more than before. The energy of the sub-navel is the vital energy, it is used by all the body, including primary centers, to maintain you in life and good health. But when doing energy work, you usually directly take some energy of the outside to the chakra(s) you want to work on, and not the sub-navel stocks, as it is easier, less draining and in every case the chakra has to make his own raffined energy.

I don't know from experience what happens when the brow storage center starts to be filled by the too much energy in the two other storage centers. In fact i just start to get some energy rasing from my sub navel to my sub heart since a few weeks ago. I suppose that your mental activity is increased, as well as the psychic abilities. But i think it might take 3 or 4 years of daily energy work to get there. I'll tell you in a few dozens of months lol

I powered up for the first time today and daaaamn, it feels weird...
I dunno if it was energy or jus something else but i tensed my muscles so hard that i my head was about to explode... i tried to absorb energy and after 10 secs i was on the ground dizzy as hell...
i couldnt get up my head was spinning but it felt so good, so energetic (like a natural high)... my body was tingly like if i got shoked and my tongue was tingling and i had a taste of electricity just like if i put a 9 volt battery in my mouth.
Is that normal... why did i get so dizzy?
