Hey Krmason welcome to the forums!

I have had my cats jump on me right before exiting a few times..[}:)]

I posted about one..I'm not sure if it is because they can see your astral body or whatever part is floating out at that moment, but it does seem to attract their attention. I guess the urge to pounce is too much.[]

thanks for the links.  I've always beleive that animals are waiting for us and are in fact a test to see how we truly are to living things.

I've had a few arguments with clerics about that subject.

Maybe I'll kick them out of the room when I try to OBE.

well duh! animals can see spirits and astral doubles and evrything! infants can too. when a kid is born like around 0-6 years, theyre still 'half-way on the other side'. then when they grow up all that earth stuff and useless garbage gets stuffed in our heads and it blocks our view. but animals are more ignorant in their learning abilities so all that garbage cant be stuffed into their heads which is why they can see things grown up ppl cant (well most ppl anyway)

Well DUH yourself.  I am new to this kind of reality and unlike the extensive experience that you have dealing with these situations, I am just learning. In fact, I am two weeks into this.  As you obviously already know, there is a huge debate on whether animals are sensitive or not.  Kids I already know since my two young boys have the gift and repeatedly tell me things that they shouldn't know.  ie that their great grandfather, who they have never met and we never talked about made violins, but didn't know how to play them.


As for the rest of the posters, thanks for the answers.  I know just a bit more than before.

This is a very interesting topic, ill share an experience i had with the neighbours cat.

"I glided down out in the yard, and on the neighbours roof, was our neighbours cat that was just innocently walking across the tiles, suddenly, its eyes lock onto me, a total panic strikes the cat, i move very close to the cat, I would say about 1ft away, now the cat is running away from me with its head back looking at me, it darts down next to a shed, I glide through the metal fence and hover in front of the cat, at this point, the cat is like a deer in head lights, i sense a shock and feelings of awe and utter curiosity all in one, im not sure if it was feeling that description, but its close to as i can get, the cats eyes where darting up and down trying to just make out what the hell i was, at this time, i decide to leave the cat alone and go elsewhere."

Unfortunatly, no one was in my back yard to see or verify at the time if that cat was there at that time, but it did seem possible.

I think RB said it well in his book Astral Dynamics...

One time I was tired and about to have an OBE and right as I popped out of my body my cat jumped on my back right as I was rising.  Also, recently in a very vivid dream(probably nightly OBE while dreaming), where I became partially lucid and asked my two cats if they could astrally project, and they said that yes they could and they can also see astral beings.  I have also had other vivid dreams(nigthly spontaneous OBE) where my cats were around my house, like always, and would act just like they did when they were awake, except they didn't play around as much.

Has anyone had any experiences where your pets react to you on an OBE?  I know that animals are sensitive to the spiritual side of things and was wondering if pets will freak out or hinder your travels.

I have a dog and two cats who are night creatures and are ofter just staring into space.(not all the time.  I would then have to afford a pet psycologist []
