I should note that while I can't pick out any of the words, I can tell that there are voices from all age groups and both sexes. I have to forcibly blank my mind for many minutes to get to this state, it seems to happen at a slightly deeper level than the pre-OBE rushing noises.

so, this happens while your trying to OBE? then its perfectly normal...but if your doing this while NOT trying to OBE, then u could be you a natural OBEer and your subconscious THINKS your trying to OBE and actually tries to do it for you.

If it's natural then what is it exactly? Am I listening to people in the physical, or in the astral, or something else?

Same thing has happened to me too, once I attempted to project in daylight. It sounded like a group of people in a big room all talking at the same time, i think this is an actual place that exists somewhere.

This has happened to me a few times usually in the trance state just before your body goes to sleep.  It's normal to hear voices, or any number of sounds at that stage.  I also hear creaking from upstairs occaisionally.

Same has happend to me when i have been really sick.
Lyin in bed and just relaxing, shifting out from sleep and wakefulness.
I can then hear these chattering like people are wispering , and that there are alot of people doing it tho it is only one with many voices.

Not only this, but i would feel at the same time as if im expanding and shrinking at like pulsation feeling.

This has happened to me a few times also when I was younger about 7 I could made my mind expand to fill the room then contract to what seem to be an infinitely small dot. For some reason I find it very hard to do nowadays.

BTW this is my very first post Hello everybody I have not astral projected yet but I think I have been very close on a few occasions. I will keep you posted.

Cube, don't take my word for it, but what you've listened to is the incomprehensible chatter of the dead. I've heard it many times, it's the eeriest of feeling. It usually happens in out-of-the-way backwood places close to streams of waters. Sometimes it's accompanied by a white mist or haze that threads and weaves between the branches until it dissapears in the distance. Whatever you do, please don't listen to it, don't try to understand the chatter, it can carry you to your own demise.

The only other 'Trick' I had when I was younger is the ability to have very vivid dreams, so vivid I still remember them now 20+ years on!! But like the mind expanding and shrinking trick I have somehow lost the ability to have them (Conditioned by the Illuminati no doubt to forget how to do it). I have bought the astral dynamics book so it might trigger some lost ability...

I have only heard individuals in trance-my daughter and her friends in the hall-but they were not there and are still alive. The noises i heard left after experiencing them about 5 times.

Several times when I go into trance I've heard people chattering. It's like I've closed my eyes and walked into the middle of a room filled with 1000 people all talking to each other within a foot of me.

I have a feeling that when I raise enough awareness and energy I'll be able to project from that state and see what I'm hearing, but in the meantime I'd like to ask if anyone has already encountered this and figured it out?
