Astral Audio CD's???

I have not tried the "hemisync" process but I do know all about it....

binuar beats:
Sound into left ear at about 5hz
Sound into the right ear at about 7hz
The brain reads the two sounds as an Oscillating wave form around 6hz.

I am a computer software engineer, made a quick application that dumps sound tones into a file and then used off the self "music mixing" software to underlay the tones in a music CD.

The results were mixed -
Tape One - did nothing for me
Tape Two - I quit smoking for about 3 months (and I LOVE to smoke)
Tape three put me to sleep fast (very fast, almost too fast)

so i would say (from my limited knowlege) it works.
BUT
do your research before you buy a product!

This topic comes up fairly regularly. There have been a number of threads with many posts by members who have tried both the commercial cds and also bwg (brainwave generator). The commercial cds include, for example, Hemi-Sync, Holo-Snyc, Awakened Minds, and Brain Sync. You can do a search for the past threads by using the Search button at the top of the page, or else read over their respective websites by doing a Google search on each.

I have used the Hemi Sync CDs on and off for 8 years. I think they are excellent. They helped me learn what it feels like to be in the various states of awareness. Then, when in those states, without using the cd's, i was able to be more conscous. I learned to go out of body very well. In the 1st 2 years, i went OOB over 100 times.

When i first started using Hemi-Sync, I'd listen to a cd over and over, until i could stay awake through the whole cd. I'd keep 'clicking out' (falling asleep). Then I'd go to the next tape/cd.

I do workshops with the Hemi-Sync tapes, so, i could be considered biased.

I was wondering if anyone has ever used audio cd's that i see out there claiming to help you project be altering your brain waves into like the theta and delta ranges.....CDs such as hemisync as well have claimed to be able to help induce seperation from your physical body. If anyone has tried this please let me know how well it worked for you and which CD was it that you used.
