So let me get this straight... Your friend had a dream that a Mage told that there are 5 sides. And there is a 6th side that must help unite the 5. If this doesn't happen "it" will destroy us. Am i right?

Well if this was in a dream, i would not apply it to anything but the individual who dreamed it. My view on dreams is that the person who has the dream is the only one who can really interpret and read into it, since it was created either by or for his own mind.
Perhaps the 5 and the 6 and the "it" have a symbolic representation in your friend's life that he either needs to acknowledge or discover.
Also what are the Futhark exactly?

By the way, am i the only one who thought of the movie "The Fifth Element" while reading this post? [:D]

Meh, well, anything's possible. I have to go, so I'll be quick.

The futhark are the runes from Norse times I think...Vikings.

Yeah, Vikings

Okay, I'm back. So I'll give one of my more "normal" replies [:P]

So yeah. You're probably right. I got carried away and didn't think to realise that there is more than one possibility to a situation, more than a hundred even, especially when dealing with dreams.

So the more likely situation is that he's having some internal message of some kind to learn some kind of lesson. Or something. Only he'll know. I've already talked to him about that so yeah.

Sorry bout that.

As for the Futhark, they are a special set of runes discovered (allegedly) by Odin. Viking God, right? Anyways, there are 25 of these, sort of like an alphabet, of which the first few are actually transliterated into F U TH A R K. Futhark. Henceforth the name of the entire set is the Futhark Runes. They're used for divination and are sometimes found in Magic.

Well I'm off to post somewhere...or maybe do something else.
Bye

A friend of mine was telling me about a site, something about some guy who calls himself the "time traveler." Apparently he has disappeared and no one has seen him since, and there is no record of his birth. He gave his name on the website and said he was born somewhere in Florida. He said there would be a huge civil war in the U.S. My guess is that this will be between the Right Wing and Left Wing, or rich and poor. Either way, the results of this war are supposed to be our culture returning to the ways of the Native Americans. I had bought a book a couple months ago called When Technology Fails, by Matthew Stein. I bought it because I was going hiking and it has lots of info on building shelters, making fire with only wood and whatever stones are laying around, a plant guide with pictures, how to dry meat, first aid info, how to heal using spiritual energy and prayer, etc. It's a great book and I'd recommend it to anyone. The info in there is invaluable to anyone.

Anyway, I think there may be validity to what FT says. I still haven't found that website about the time traveler guy, but I want to take a look just for the heck of it. I'll post the link if I find it.

ah, nevermind, here is the link. I haven't read through it, but I suggest you do if you want to learn more about it, there's a lot to read.

Argh...don't do posts like that....
(this is the guy who I was talking about)

You might want to read what's already been said before you go asking questions that are completely irrelevant to what has already been replied.

Dreams are cryptic, like passwords or crosswords. You have to decode them according to YOUR OWN set of symbols. One symbol usually means more than a hundred things, but usually only one or two things to a single person. The trick is in finding out what symbol means what to YOU.

Anyways, peace and all

Your friend's dream corresponds with Titor's 'prediction' that a civil war will erupt in the U.S. very soon and that a nuclear holocaust will emerge ten years from now. Something about Titor's words is haunting and foreboding, and it seems many of his predictions are already coming true. But visit the site for yourself and decide for yourself if this is a hoax. There seems to be plenty of somewhat concrete evidence supporting what he says. There is still time to change the future, but not much, in my opinion. If our nation becomes any more of a police state and starts incarcerating its own population without due process, then we'll know for sure that we better have a very nonviolent movement very soon and try to re-earn what freedoms the Founding Fathers have granted us.

How patriotic of you, Ender...as for those of us who don't live in America...let's move on.

There have been many things, posts, websites, etc. that have had stories like my friend's. That's why I posted this. I know I have been known to often slam those who go around preaching of demonic wars and whatnot, but the fact that this relates to so many other things is just....eerie.

But, as I always say, time will tell. When the time comes, beliefs will be decided, sides will be taken, and whatever is meant to happen will happen. This is not to say I will sit back and let something kill me ^_^.

As for Kuja, well, I mistook him for my friend. I think someone at school overheard us and stole his nick, so my friend's nick is now Fubu. If Kuja does anything more like this (mocking my friend's stories, posts, and whatever) I suggest that he gets banned, email and all. I don't want people from my school tainting the Astral Pulse. They're not very friendly or open people at all.

I had the most amazing talks with one of my friends today, regarding dreams and visions he has had.

He spoke of a Mage that told him that he had within him the ability to manipulate any form of Magic or whatever he wished if he put his mind to it (sounds a lot like metaphysics [;)]), and he said that his most prominent ability was Black Magic. Of course, we all scowl and frown at that name, but of course, Darkness is just another element. It can be used for good or for evil. It is just raw power, and thus it is unstable.

Anyways, we went on speaking, and the entire context of the conversation can be barely remembered in my conscious mind at the moment, so I will go over some significant points if I can.

Earlier, last year I believe, there was a thread about prophecies, divinations - and most importantly - dreams and visions about some huge war or sequence of events likely to happen some time soon. Basically, one of the replies to that, actually several, were about a dream that many people had, just in different forms due to mental interpretation. There were 5 sides. America, Russia, East Asia, Psychic, and ???, ??? being some great evil, anything ranging from alien invasions to meteor showers of doom, depending on that person's idea of the Deathbringer of them all.

When I told my friend this, he said that this person who appeared to him in his dream told him of 5 sides. If they did not unite, It will destroy us. The 6th must help unite the 5, and if they cannot, their job will be made more difficult, at worst impossible. It must be destroyed, for this is the damage it does (within the dream, the Mage points to a ruined castle, absolutely destroyed, with runic stones lying about that my friend remembers seeing, even though he has never seen runes ever before in his life. Yes, they are of the Futhark. I showed him a Futhark chart and he recognised them.)

He asked the Mage what exactly "it" was, but all he got out of him was something about a great and powerful being, maybe evil. Not sure, I'll have to check up on it.

Of course I do not doubt that his imagination could have changed his memory of the dream, and I do not doubt that this could be his ego, constantly changing his memory to match what I say to him. He is one of my best friends, and he has never lied to me before. I find this quite earie, and when he was speaking to me about the Mage I felt a sense of foreboding, that I couldn't help but feel that he was almost 100% correct.

Though I think that this was used by the Mage to convince him, the Mage said my friend was one of the "Ultimate Shamans." Though he does not know what a Shaman even is. I think this was a name, just like Crystal Children, Psion, Warrior, whatever. I believe that anyone here is like that, because we are open to the beliefs that can fuel supernatural "powers." And perhaps these "pole shifts" that are supposed to happen are related to a theory that I have read before about how the physical is merging slightly with the astral, bringing energy to a very powerful state, a state it was possibly in long long ago.

Any feedback appreciated, and please, do not flame me. I am not trying to sound like an egotistical kid, and I doubt my friend is either. Please, just have an open mind when replying.

Thank you
