B.  What ever stands out in that celebrities personality could represent a similarity in you at that time in your life!

I agree on Blissful's take on celebrities in dreams. Their image on screen is similar to dream images, it's an easy connection to make.

Some speak of archetypes with this subject, but I'm still trying to understand what this means. I get a lot of different views about this.Collective unconscious is an interesting subject all unto itself.

For me:
I've had dreams with George C. Scott in it. He was at the grocery store I shop in, more than once! He was dressed like a doctor each time.
A dream with Scott Bakula once. He was standing in this strange grid saying something.
A dream where I was riding in an airliner sitting next to and chatting with Rod Serling.
And just recently, I was leaving work (whatever it was?). Tom Cruise and I worked together. As we left work, he went off into the crowd toward wherever? I headed off to do my thing afterwards too.

Anyone else want to offer up anything?  []

I play the guitar,and I love the music and sound/style of jimi hendrix.I've had severaL dreamsd that he appeared in.once I dreamed that I travelled to the spirit world/astral planes,and met him there.his skin was shining purple and green.

another time,I dreamed that he returned from the grave,and started touring again,doing festivals.I was at a concert[].it was a big news event "the return of jimi hendrix"[8D]

Funny one, Jason. I forgot one too. I had a dream with Oprah Windfrey in it. Her boyfriend and her baby (or someone's baby?) was sitting at the same table.

I've dreamt that Madonna asked me to come on stage and dance with her.

I LOVE MADONNA!!!!  She and I have the same birthday (Elvis died on our bday).

I have noticeed since starting ot write down most of my dreams that I meet a lot of famous peoplein my dreams. Just last night I saw Prince singing and took a course with Sandra Bullock and flirted with Goldi Hawn. The night before I talked with Robert Redford. In the last month since I have started writing down my dreams there have been many more. They all seem to fulfill their stereotypical role in my dreams as they are in film or life. The Robert Redford dream was cool, relaxed and intelligent. andra Bullock was like the girl next door and Goldie Hawn flirtatious and fun.

My wife told me earlier how she dreamed soemtimes of Michael Douglas and even made passionate love to him.

I think these people are standard Archetypes to us and are very useful in dreams as a asort of shorthand.

Any thoughts anybody?
