I have found his ideas very interesting too.

Also of interest is his legacy in education.  He formulated many of the methods used to teach in modern schools.  He is also the genius behind the Steiner and Waldorf schools.

I believe there is still an active Theosophy society.

Well considering it was written 80 years ago , i wouldnt be to suprised to find racistic texts . It wasnt exactly political uncorrect to be one. Just because men are Intelligent and insightfull (even in the esoteric) doesnt make one Holy[:P].

Hmm i read only a little of hes work, blended impression. Much Golden Dawn and Christianity and perhaps a little quaballa(thought didnt see to much evidence of it) . But Hes way of viewing will, astralplane and sleeping was somewhat original.

Reading Carl Jung's books I've run across several sexist remarks that wouldn't fly these days.  That happens, though.  These men, though posessing tremendous forward vision and genius, are still a product of their age, and not entirely proof against the prejudices of the day.

Ever read anything by Rudolph Steiner? I have been studying his work a bit. Its very interesting. Try reading Theosophy, or An outline of escoteric science. I especially find his work on escoteric training of immense geinus. His divisions of the human body are in great depth and backed up by intelligent arguments, especially considering that they were written 80 years ago.

The problem with his works is that his name conjurs up a host of objections by fools who have never even read his most basic texts, and accusations of racism fly from every direction based on small samples taken entirely out of context.

try it, you may learn something interesting about yourself.
