I think it is possible that the dreams you are having are from a past life.  If they are that real.  What time frame were the dreams in?  Look at cars, clothes, and other things.  This should give you a good idea about what year it is.  Also next time you have one of these dreams try to find a mirror, like in a bathroom or something.  Look at your own reflection and see what you look like.  Is it you or someone else?

Past life experiences, have been so well documented in hundreds of case studies that they have basically been scientifically proven.

Joachim Wolf goes in depth about them in his awesome book "Understanding the Grand Design.  Here is a link for him.

Really? Well when I was there I did get the distict feeling that it was in the past, but only in the 1970's or somethin, I was born in 1980. I never really thought of past life stuff, because i never really regarded it as realistic.. but I guess it would explain a few things..

Oh yes, I have many memories of my past lives, and have always been a believer.  Now a great many of our modern scientists, and psychologists, are acknowledging it.  Many in part of the tremendous amount of scientific research that has been done over that last couple of decades.

Basically they have concluded that no one case in particular is enough evidence to prove it.  But that the overwhelming amount of evidence combined is irrefutable.

I personally would do allot of soul searching and unjudgmental thinking about it if it were me.  I am sure there are many posts here that have info or books to read.

Hello brisck1, I have similar experiences in my dreams as well.  As if I have an entirely different set of memories and experiences.  In some, I even recall past dreams (although they're false).  However, I don't believe that these dreams are necessarily experiences from previous lives.  In most normal dreams, people don't act exactly the same way as they would in real life and part of the reason is that your rationale, memories, etc. are messed up in dreams.  For example, many times I do a simple arithmetic problem in my dream and when I wake up I realize that my answer was wrong.  I don't know the exact scientific reasoning behind it though.  But it's probably one of the main reasons many people dismiss dreams as random neuron firings.  When people do reality checks in dreams or realize that they're dreaming some other way, it means that they've been able to partly preserve their waking rationale/memories (possibly their frontal lobe is more active?).  Also, I think that the more energy work you do, the more vivid your dreams become and the more concentration work you do, the more lucid your dreams become.  My two cents anyway.  =)

I think I should also post about a city, town which I also seem to visit alot in my dreams, which, for some reason, I know like the back of my hand... Doesnt happen very often but man is it strange! I also have been having excrement loads of dreams over the past 6-12 months of natural disaters! really bad excrement, and it always seems to be the same thing...huge tidal waves very much the same size as what can be seen in Deep inpact (NY scene) and also in the Abyss special edition... but then I guess that is another topic :P

Hi, I have this from time to time and I'm just wondering what it could all be about, and also if anyone else has experienced it.

Some nights, and for a long time, I will dream of people and places which are amazingly familiar to me, and yet, when I wake, I realise that these memories can not be true. For example, a couple of nights ago, I had a dream where I went back to visit my first primary school. I remember walking down this street and things started to become more and more familiar. Buildings, street names, as well as many other memories suddely came flooding into my mind, and I suddenly realised that this was where I used to go to school. It was so strange because at the time I could remember so many intimate details, like how my dad used to pick me up and drop me there in his car. Then I saw the school, and even more memories... old teachers came to mind, memories of classes i used to sit, even where and who I used to sit next to in class. Now I was begining to remember old freinds! I was only about 7-8 when i was there but as i walked in, i noticed how much it had changed... There was a computer room where the old library used to be for example!
when entering the old school, I saw one of my old teachers who I spoke to briefly and she gave me some of my old work which she had kept on file for some reason...

After waking up it took me a while to realise that this trip down memory lane never actually happened, but to this day the memories  are still strangely familiar.

As I have said before, this happens to me quite often, I seem to visit places in my drems which, even though I have never been to before, I know like the back of my hand... Even the people...

What do you think?
