Hey Rooj, that's a pretty crazy.  That's happened to me once before, but nothing odd happened like the dogs attacking the deer-thing.  Anyway, whenever you actually woke up, were your mom and brother both downstairs, like in the dream?  Were there corellations between the dream world and the real world (complements to Morpheus)?  Basically, I'm wondering if maybe you actually projected into the real time zone, then you witnessed some crazy reality fluxuations.  I'm not sure.  Maybe you projected into the astral instead, each time into slightly different realms.  I'm not sure on that one either.  Oh well, just give me your thoughts on that.

He who kisses the Joy as it flies,
Lives in Eternity's sunrise.

RooJ,
Sounds like a very cool experience (minus the bad part). Since the current waning of my dream recall experience, I find I'm lacking some imagination to give ideas to your experience. I miss this.

However, I have seen a dog attack a young deer in real life. It was a traumatizing event. The interesting thing is that this dog belonged to my sister. She later too, attached me. Maybe the deer represents the innocent, the dog is the aggressor in society? No offense to dogs.[:)]

Hey,

Interesting thoughts, it hadnt occured to me that this could be a possibility. When id actually woke up my family where downstairs but they wern't in the kitchen.. and it did feel weird actually telling my mom about the dream after all of that [:)]. Im really not sure about your theory as it felt alot like a dream to me and i havnt had alot of experience with astral projection. But its definitely an interesting thought anyway, cheers.

Thanks for the input.. and sorry to hear about your waning dream recall, do you have any idea of the reason for it?. Hmm.. To be honest i try not to figure out what my dreams mean most of the time. I dont like those books that try to tell you what your dreams are about, such as one i read that said if your teeth fall out in a dream your gonna lose a member of your family or someone will become ill etc. I suppose I try not to over analyse and just enjoy them. [:)]

False awakenings can work wonders for you. Next time, do a reality check to see if you are still dreaming.  Check your hands or your body and see is something is different. Also, for a reality check, see if you can float off the ground. If so, then you have proof that you are dreaming, then you can become LUCID!  There's nothing better than that.

Nope, don't know why my dreams are fading in recall. It could be because I don't need to recall(?). Sometimes deep (and totally unconcious) is the most therapeutic ones for me anyway. And, I guess I have enough to experience with my waking experiences, such as synchrony and lucid dreaming occasionally (visuals and other experiences while going to sleep and awakening). It's just that I've spent most my life wanting to remember traditional dreams. The last five years has been a dream come true [:)]. The downside though, it's been the most trying time of my life as well. Maybe it's a trade-off, as the saying goes. However, I would like it both ways, remembering dreams, and also life going my way. [:)]

I enjoyed reviewing dream books ever since I began regular dream recall. I understand that the books reflect other people's experiences. There are some truth to them (scattered and mixed). I've learned a lot about the collective unconscious this way too. Although I've always been interested in psychology, I never "got it" until I experienced it by actual recalled dreams myself. I just like to enjoy the dreams too. I don't feel like they are meant to be over analysed either. Before my last 5 years of dream recalling, I didn't have a clue what intuition meant, now I do! In fact, before this, I felt intutition was something I didn't have in life (heard about it though).

Afternoon all,

Today i had a strange experience, after waking up this morning i got on with my usual saturday routine, i began running a bath and made my way downstairs. I soon found myself in a conversation with my mum and brother in the kitchen and i poured myself a glass of orange juice, while i got made fun of for having spiky morning hair.
After checking my hair in a mirror something unexpected happened... I woke up again. Ive had false awakenings before so i went down stairs and theres my mum and brother again in the kitchen, i began telling them about what had just happened. I checked the mirror to find my hair wasnt spiky and then after a while i decided to go for a walk outside.
Not long into my walking (in a field near my house) i witnessed 2 dogs with large snouts attacking some other type of animal like a deer, after this they began running for me. After scrambling up a fence i realised i was still dreaming and once again i woke. This time getting up i was laughing (and confused) and made my way downstairs to tell my mum the crazy mornings dreaming, but before i had chance.. bang.. i woke up for the fourth (and hopefully last) time as my dad had entered my room and accidently woke me.

My own mini-groundhog day [:)].. if this happened every morning it could send you insane though...

PS., ill leave you with a quote:
Morpheus says, "You have the look of a man who accepts what he sees because he expects to wake up. Ironically, that's not far from the truth."
