Shadow People or Dark force entities?

Ahh, I don't know if Mine was a Shadow Thing or Not, but I did have a Blue Tiger try to Swat at me a few times. My Friend also has had a Blue Face try to attack him. Both of our incidents were the same color blue, except mine was a tiger, and his was a face.

I also posted this somewhere else a couple days ago as well. I've had a little girl sittin in the corner of my room when unknowingly in AP, and I was sitting up to see what was going on, then finally realized I was in AP when she had some sort of Force that was pulling me through the Air Towards Her!

Bizzare.

sometimes the shadow being is another being. sometimes it is a helping spirit. sometimes it is . . . . YOU! And sometimes . . . it is ALL of these at the same time. next time . . . ask them

I have encountered them myself. I know other people who have encountered them as well, and describe them exactly as I do. Actually many people all describe them the same. There must be something to them, strangers who have never met would not describe them the same. Doctors say they are hallucinations, but how can so many different people share the same hallucination?I feel they are beings, entitys, or " demon" type beings from the lower astral plane.
Some people claim to have been raped by these.

Well, the being I am talking about is very featureless. It is black, and is surely not friendly. It is also fairly small as far as I can tell. Approx 3 ft tall at the most. IIt has attempted to wrestle me and frighten me. It has even spoken once and it said "I am going to haunt you for the rest of your life" and thats it. That was actually about 7-8 months ago and I haven't had any OBE's since then. Mine are "usually" very uneventful. I only end up leaving my body and then I float around awkwardly because I can't control myself then I wake up back in my body. And other times this being is there so I really can't do anything, but try to find out what it wants with me. Only a couple times have they switched into what appeared to be extra powerful lucid dreams.

I have never really encountered anything blue like you described, just this being. I'm assuming its the same one each time I encounter it.

On my first OBE i remember going passed a large mirror that we have in my house and as I looked I saw a black shadow figure. Looked like the cartoon ghosts you see only he was all black with white eyes. I assumed it was what I looked like when I was out of my body. Or perhaps he was something else?

In the tradition I work with, that dark figure is called The Dweller in the Shadows, the Force or entity who acts as a Protector but who will also try to keep you from progressing spritually, due to the risks involved.

People in my tradition interact with the Dweller any number of ways, but I usually behave respectfully and sympathetically toward it, even if I don't do what it wants. I want to move forward in my OBE and spritual travels, despite the risk!

a couple days ago,at 5 in the morn. i was awaken by a shadow expieriance. its been a long time since anything like this has happened.in was dreaming i was in my bed,when i fell and in my dream this shadow touched me. my body was tingling,and it was trying to pull me off my bed.at first i was scared,but then i wasn't. so it left ,but then it was again trying to pull me off the bed and it was chocking me. at the same time that i felt this,this happened to me last week also.but both times i felt this my year old daughter would start whinning, while sleeping.i'm beginning to think that she also felt it's precence.my son who's now 4 has told me of things he's seen, but my husband says its all in our heads.we know different.

K, im new here, and reading this message has scared the crap outta me. I never made an astral projection, but i think i might have felt the seperation once. So if i do actualy project, am i going to see a dark figure thats going to say "i am going to haunt you for the rest of your life"? Btw, i might have seen 3 of these Dwellers or shadow men when i was a child. I remember waking up and looking over to the side seeing 3 shadow men or dwellers just standing there staring at me. The bottoms of them were like moving mountains or a black fire. The eyes were see through, and the whole body was a see through black. I kept calling out for my dad and when he came in and turned on the light they were gone. Did i see dwellers or Shadow men?

Every man has their fear of dieing, whether it be of pain or not knowing where you are going, however, mine is the family, memories, and good times i leave behind.

I realate to this one...I've been having OBE's since I was 16, involuntarily. Basically most of my experiences have included this one bloody horrible "creature" who scares the bejesus out of me every time. He comes in different forms (even once as my husband -a horrible false awakening!) and he more or less tries to rape me... no other word for it! There's only been two times when I managed to get beyond it by letting out a barbaric yorp and jumping out my bedroom window, fearless. After I did that, it was amazing... I was rolling at the bottom of the sea, flying in the clouds, lying on a stone fence in a field by the sea... But that was a good 18 mths ago now, and I havent been able to overcome the fear again. I've read that these are tests... what does everyone think??

Hello everyone. I was just checking through the forum threads and didn't notice any thread about any "shadow beings" encountered during OBE experiences. I only call it a shadow being for lack of a better term. Here's my experiences with them in a nutshell:

I have had probably 15 OBE's total and I realy can not control when they happen. They happen very sporadically and I really haven't had one for about 6 months. I am 23 and they started when I was about sixteen. I have really only started to experience this shadow being in the past 5 OBE's. I experienced it once before in an earlier one, but nothing major. Basically, it is there upon first entering the OBE state. Right after the vibrations and the sensation of leaving the body. It is there and actually growls and on a couple occasions has actually attempted to wrestle with me. It never actually did anything that hurt. I think its main purpose was to make me afraid I guess.

Well, the main reason I am writing this is to see if any of you have experienced this. I will not explain any more because I'm sure that people who "know" what I'm talking about don't need further explanation. Any theories or experiences that are similiar?
