Digital cameras & Orbs?

I believe what you are speaking of, has been debunked as unfocused dust particles, not actually orbs (they sure look alot different to me).

I still think its possible, but the majority of these pictures are just unfocused dust particles.

Hi Logic,
Thanks for your reply, it makes quite a lot of sense now I think about it, it seems quite obvious really but when looking at some of these pictures for the first time it can look a little bizarre!

The majority of pictures I have seen including the ones I have taken were indoors where the likelyhood of it being dusty is higher, none of the pictures I found on the internet were taken outside although I imagine that this could also happen outdoors if the conditions were right.

I might have a go at recreating the same conditions again and see if I get similar results, thanks again!

There's a site online that had pictures taken outside that show the inside of places and stuff . . . some of them were too outrages and probably cropped, but what do I know? If I remember the site, I'll post it up, []

Thanks for the link ImmuredSoul, the picture that resembles most closely the Orb's in my photo is the one second from the right on the top row, the only difference being that the Orb's in my picture are opaque and can be seen through?

I have a few digi cam pics with orbs in them too.

This is a picture I took of some bats in a cave in Nepal.

To the left appears to be a mist of some sort.. and on the right if you zoom in is an orb..
There was no dust in the cave, neither was is it cold.. so that rules out the possibility of the mist being my breath...

What about the bats eyes reflecting the flash?
Theres still the grey mist on the left and an "orb" on the right.
I doubt the bats eyes caused the mist or orb effect.

What I meant about the eyes reflection is that the "orb" could be the result of the reflected light hitting the walls.
I saw the mist thing and the light gray spot.
But, there is too few elements to make any conclusion.
The mist could be anything, like some gas from the bats' "wastes".
There are other smaller "orbs" too...

Yes I think some are dust or moisture.  But there are a lot of them that don't make sense and don't have another explanation.

For instance... my son has an orb that follows him around.  He's certainly not 'dusty'.

In my house i have places where i can photograph dozens of orbs in some occasions. I am not accepting that they are ghosts or paranormal stuff, because they can be result of wet air too. The problem is that these orbs are included in the paranormal catgeory.

I will ask some day at an expert photographer what the hell are the orbs, because i cannot believe too much in what i found in the net.

There are hundreds of people that my want to ilude people in the net, with plausible lies. Or they illude themselves and thus other people too.

To be honest, i have no idea what the hell are these orbs.

Hi All,
I wasn't sure where to put this post but thought that this might be the right place as the subject matter is spirit related.

Has anybody ever heard of Orbs or ever photographed an Orb with a digital camera?

I have had a digital camera for a couple of months now and have taken probably over 500 pictures, I have noticed that on 3 of the pictures there is what looks like an Orb or Orbs.

The Orbs in the pictures are of a slightly irregular circular shape, white, with an outer feint blue haze or glow, inside the main circle there appears to be a further circle or circles forming an abstract delicate shape, it's not very easy to see as the image has to be enlarged considerably to make out the fine detail.

I have read on one or two websites that Orbs are thought to possibly be spirits or the first phase in a spirit apparition.

Could this just be down to the technology, something to do with the way digital cameras work? or could it really be a spirit captured on camera?

I'd be really interested to see what you think about the topic or if any of you have had taken any similar pictures.
