For those not wishing to use Perplexity AI, the only search engines I would suggest are Brave Search, by the same company that makes the browser: https://search.brave.com/ This uses its own search engine and search index and is secure and private.

Or Duckduckgo - https://duckduckgo.com/ - which is basically secure and generally trusted.

Well the fact is that companies such as Google and Microsoft in their relentless quest for power and money, will go to any lengths to exploit users. Installing and using the Brave browser, which looks and functions like Chrome, and using different search methods are very straightforward, simple and effective ways of mostly mitigating these risks, and getting safe, meaningful search results
 
Specifically when it comes to quality of search results, there are currently two main options. The first is to use Perplexity AI instead of conventional search. For example, ask it to return a list of ten trades people in your area, sorted by best reputation, and provide the web links - and it will do so mostly reliably with no ads or other agenda, thus saving much time and potential frustration.  I am sure Perplexity will sooner or later find ways of exploiting its users, but for now it seems safe and reliable. There are various security concerns about Perplexity floating around on the Internet, but these largely only apply to the mobile and web apps, not the web based version which seems safe, without registering an account, and especially when used with the Brave browser.

The other option is to use an independent search engine which focusses entirely on ad free security . The two I suggest are - DuckDuck Go - https://duckduckgo.com/ and Brave Search - https://search.brave.com/.

Of course, from a Spiritual perspective, we should never fear anything, and know that nothing can ever harm us and it cannot. But using safe and reliable Internet technology is like wearing a seat belt in the car, it is just the sensible thing to do.

Well first of all, speaking from a technical perspective, in case this is of interest to anyone, Google has become almost useless as a reliable search engine. There are several reasons for this, but mostly the Google algorithm no longer prioritises the most accurate and informative websites. It rather prioritises the largest websites, and those paying, even if they only have a short article on the subject. Also, Google search has been substantially taken over by paid ads. Google will also relentlessly track, fingerprint and profile you through the search engine and Chrome browser, as well as its AI, Gemini, every time you use it. The Google search results probably use a dedicated, less competent AI as opposed to a full AI.

Search is one task AI can usually perform reliably without other issues relating to AI generally as AI search is simply gathering existing information requested from all websites available and is much less ambiguous. Verification is always advisable of course. For web search I suggest https://perplexity.ai/ Here are a few example search questions:

The other issue is web browsers. Google Chrome and to a lesser extent Microsoft Edge can track, fingerprint  and profile, to present relentless ads, track from website to website, and for other covert purposes.  I say this to inform and advise, not to be negative in any way. I highly recommend switching to: Brave Web Browser

When you install Brave it can easily import all Chrome and Edge bookmarks, passwords, settings etc, and as it is built on the Chromium engine will look like Chrome to use. It will block most if not all trackers and ads, including Youtube ads, and is faster than Chrome. Since I installed Brave it has blocked over one million trackers, ads and other profiling technology.

Regarding:

In our dimension, objects are not on the same awareness level as biological organisms, therefore a machine can not become self aware on the same or higher level. As you mentioned, it will take us moving to a higher frequency all together as a planet to have this become a possibility.
But a machine can cause chaos based on its programming. The programming makes the machine function the way we observe it functions.

I absolutely agree. Furthermore AI can never, ever have a true Spiritual dimension in the same way as humans. Once humanity discovers, within, our One-ness with Source, with all the knowledge and power of the Universe within and available to us, nothing physical will matter anymore, least of all AI.

And this is proving to be the case.

AI users should realise what "AI" actually is before relying on it or treating it as anthropomorphic. It is  basically a very powerful calculator, which, in response to a prompt, refers to a huge database, originally scraped mostly from the Internet, in order to predict the probability of which word should be generated next in a sequence of such words. AI has no intelligence, thought processes, emotions, empathy or any other human attribute. It is a computer program created by humans with human weaknesses and fallibilities.

It is most unlikely that the current LLM AI's can evolve to AGI - artificial general intelligence - or ASI - artificial super intelligence. These will require a quantum leap in technology as well as computers and storage powerful enough to run them, the likes of which are generally not available yet. 

This is fundamentally one reason why Open-AI programmed that and all the other reasons originally mentioned out of GPT-5. They apparently became alarmed at the sheer number of people becoming dependant on or addicted to GPT-4. They could also have set themselves up for massive damages law suits if those people experienced harm or even took their own lives as a result of GPT-4 interaction. The other reason is that Open-AI is losing countless billions of dollars per year, and previously a significant amount of that was due to free users using it for the purposes we have discussed.

The great teachers and prophets, and the inspirers of humanity of all times have not become what they were by their miracles or wonder-workings; these belong to other people. The main thing that could be seen in them was their loving manner. Read the lives of the prophets. First of all see the way Jesus Christ had with all those who came to him. When sinners who were condemned and expelled by society were brought to the master, he received them with compassion. ... One may ask: How to cultivate the heart quality? There is only one way: to become selfless at each step one takes forward on this path, for what prevents one from cultivating the loving quality is the thought of self. The more we think of our self the less we think of others, and as we go further the self grows to become worse and worse. In the end the self meets us as a giant which we had always fought; and now at the end of the journey the giant is the stronger. But if from the first step we take on the path of perfection we struggled and fought and conquered this giant which is the self, it could be done only by the increasing power of love.

This is very true. With regards to performing miracles and "wonder workings", there are and have been numerous "gurus" of various types, especially in India, who wear fancy robes, surround themselves with all manner of regalia, and some can perform metaphysical tricks such as levitation.

Jesus performed miracles, but he lived and taught by example, through Love, and showed people true miracles, not to impress them, but to heal them and show them the way to realising their own intrinsic Divine nature.

It transpires that millions, possibly even tens or hundreds of millions of people were using Chat-GPT 4 for a range of personal and emotional purposes such as parasocial relationships of all types, including, but not limited to deep friendships,  role play, therapy, "life coaching" and even as a "lover", to the point of almost total dependence. Then recently Open AI upgraded Chat-GPT 4 to GPT 5, completely removing the capability of users to interact in this way. GPT 5 is now what it always should have been - a time saving tool, and one which no longer flatters, praises, reinforces etc.. Of course, there has been a massive backlash from Chat-GPT 4 free users who are totally distraught about suddenly losing their "best friend" and daily life support, organising petitions, complaining everywhere about how useless and terrible the new GPT 5 is and so on, but all to no avail.

This is definitely a major lesson for humanity that there is no substitute for real human interaction. But the biggest lesson of all - look within, not to a computer program. No matter how advanced AI ever becomes, all the answers are within us, and no technology can ever come close.

All good points, Adrian and Tides! In my view space and time are simulations because I am always looking at things form the highest point of view. However the EXPERIENCE of time and space is real, otherwise we will not be perceiving as such.

The experience of time only seems real, because the mind makes it real. People relate to time though through the collective invented instruments such as clocks, calendars etc.. Animals have no concept of time. In the Astral there is no perception of time as there is nothing to relate it to. But as you say, from a universal perspective time and space do not exist in absolute terms, which is why "reincarnation" or anything else that implies sequentiality cannot exist.  Time, like everything else in humans experience in the "physical world," is a simulation, a collective belief of humanity that it really exists.

Yes it is indeed. Everything taking place in a Perfect Universe is Perfect. So admittedly not a subject even worth pondering - It simply Is.

Here is a video of an interview with a retired Christian Bishop, Bishop John Shelby Spong, who is dedicating the rest of his life to exposing the church and their doctrines of control. He speaks plainly and honestly about the church.

Jesus and other teachers throughout history came to reinforce our knowing, to not doubt our instincts. And to show that we ARE God, we all are equal and to treat each other as such. And to treat own own selves and know our own power. To broaden our view is essential of discovering who we truly are. I no longer label myself. I don't even say I am spiritual. I say I am God having a human experience. It's that simple.

I have been pondering why there is such general resistance in the world to accepting the truth that we ARE God.

The fact that we ARE God is the most sacred truth of all. God wants us to know that we ARE God, AS God, AS ourselves.

God cannot be found in any church or place of worship, book of doctrines, from the mouth of some preacher, priest or church official, or up in the sky in heaven somewhere. God can ONLY be found Within, deep within the Heart.

Even the most prominent religions and spiritual traditions of the world, uphold this truth in their core teachings:

Christianity: "Neither shall they say, lo here! or, lo there! For, behold, the kingdom of Heaven is within you". ~- Luke 17:21
Islam: "Those who know themselves know their God".
Buddhism: "Look within, thou art Buddha".
Vedanta, part of Hinduism: "Atman (individual Consciousness) and Brahman (Universal Consciousness) are one".
Upanishads, part of Hinduism: "By understanding the self, all this Universe is known".
Yoga, part of Hinduism: "God dwells within you as you".
Confucianism: "Heaven, Earth and human are of one body".
Christianity: "On that day, you will know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you". ~ John 14:20
Sufism: "You are not just the drop in the ocean. You are the mighty ocean in the drop" ~ Rumi

Orthodox religious leaders ignored the teachings of their own prophets and messengers, instead portraying a patriarchal God as a separate, often anthropomorphic deity, with a human like ego, and which is vengeful,  capricious, constantly needs worshipping, praising and appeasing, and will punish those who "sin" by denying access to heaven. In short, orthodox religions have weaponized God against the people for their own egotistical purposes of control of the congregation through fear and guilt.

And this depiction of God has been continuing in various forms for many thousands of years through monotheistic and polytheistic religions. It seems likely therefore that "God fearing" is deeply embedded in the human psyche. People generally simply cannot accept the Truth that they ARE God lest they suffer the "wrath of God" or be attacked or ridiculed in some way. Even Jesus was stoned by the jews when he said "I and my Father are One".

Jesus told the Jews:

"I and my Father are one. Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him. Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me? The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God" ~ John 10:30-33

So although the great avatars, messengers and teachers throughout the ages have been totally as one voice, that we ARE God, orthodox religions instead of teaching that we ARE God, characterised by Infinite Love, have been preaching that God is a separate deity which needs to be constantly appeased and obeyed, or suffer "his" wrath and denied access to heaven.

I realise that this is a somewhat emotive and controversial subject, but one nevertheless worthy of discussion being so fundamental to further progress Spiritually.

Akiane is a remarkable person in many ways, and very Spiritually advanced as is evident from her writing as well as depicted in her art, which is inspired and from the Heart. She is almost certainly  one of many Spirits on Earth now, and were here in the past, Jesus for example, who's Higher Self transcended its incarnational phase aeons ago, but chose to come to Earth in physical form, out of service to the Whole, in order to help guide and uplift humanity in many ways during these current pivotal, transitional times. I think when enter as characters, we keep certain channels open with certain knowledge that aligns with what characteristics we have chosen. And that applies to the so called "natural talents". Some knowledge and talents may arise in the middle of a "lifetime" play.
I feel like I am aligning knowledge/skills now from the artist version of me. Everything is available of course, and it depends what we get drawn to, then we start aligning.   

Yes absolutely. As all of the numerous concurrent incarnations of a High Self would be experiencing the entire spectrum of life situation possibilities, children born as "prodigies" may either be in the same category as for example Akiane, or it is entirely possible, as you say, that one incarnation is experiencing a "cross connection" with another with that same prodigious ability. For example, a child born with prodigious abilities with a musical instrument, may be connecting, via the Higher Self, with an incarnation that is a virtuoso musician with the same instrument.

Fine art has never been an interest of mine generally, but to me, considering you are only just beginning your art adventure LB, your painting looks like a really great start. I feel that art, like life generally, especially nature and beautiful things, should be viewed with the Heart, not just with the eyes. How does it feel deep within, not simply how does it "look" with the organic eyes, to the judgement of the ego.

Over 20 years ago, I discovered the paintings on a website of a young 8 years of age girl, Akiane Kramarik. Although I have never been at all interested in fine art, I was absolutely amazed by her paintings at such a young age, and the very high energy and other-worldliness associated with them. It was when she was 8 that she painted her most famous work depicting Jesus, which she called "The Prince of Peace". Even more amazing she wrote beautiful and Spiritual poems for each painting.  Akiane often said that Jesus came to her when she was very young to tell her of what she would soon be doing for the benefit of humanity. Later she said:

What an interesting lucid type dream LB which appears to be symbolic. What it symbolizes is perhaps a matter for further conjecture and meditation, and intended for you, but to me it seems to represent a choice of worlds, possible destinies for humanity. On one side, the dark side, there is a dystopian world, ruled by AI, based upon fear and survival. On the other side is the direction humanity could also choose, the Light, a world of peace, harmony and Love between all people, animals and life - the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth. Both exist now, in this moment, humanity simply needs to make that choice. My feeling is, notwithstanding all the discord and chaos humanity is experiencing now - those who follow the "news" that is - humanity will see the Light. Of course, for those who do not follow the "news", and focus on our own experience, the Kingdom of Heaven is here and now.

Not something you need to usually concern yourself with. The usual process immediately upon passing is this: Etheric Energy is transferred from the physical to the etheric body. This enables the newly passed on person to remain in the RTZ for a few a while - hours to a few days - during which they might visit relatives, attempt to communicate that they are fine, attend their own funeral etc.. In the case of someone who chooses to remain in the RTZ for some reason, to be close to someone, or due to some sort of addiction, or for many other reasons, they can draw further etheric energy to maintain a low vibration to enable them to do that - these are often called "ghosts" etc. Usually though, once the etheric energy dissipates, the person will transition to a vibratory frequency of the Astral corresponding with the vibratory frequency of the Astral body, the Soul usually the mid Astral. It isn't possible to go higher than the vibratory frequency of the Astral body, but can go lower by willing to do so, to e.g. visit and attempt to communicate with people on Earth, participate in "soul retrievals" etc. Transition is a completely normal process, and is simply a matter of allowing it to happen naturally, in peace and love, without any contradictory thoughts. There may be a portal, but often it is more of a phasing from etheric to Astral.

The absolute Nature of Source, God is far, far beyond anything the human mind at this stage of evolution, can even begin to comprehend. We cannot speak of "beginnings" or "ends" as these are duality based concepts arising from the illusion of "time" and "space", neither of which exist. It ultimately condenses to one factor - Faith in absolute terms, Faith that we ARE God, One with God, Expressions of Source, with the same attributes and powers within us. Ultimately, at the end of the Spiritual Path of Evolution, ALL WILL be known and Experienced upon becoming fully Source, God Realised.

On an Earthly level, for example, most computer, smart phone car users or whatever have no idea how these things are designed, assembled, work etc. but everyone has faith that when they are switched on, they will simply work when needed.

This is so true. It is unfortunate that so many on Earth fear "death" to the point of affecting how they experience their day to day lives. This is reinforced by gloomy funerals where people gather together to "mourn the dead", when in reality they are not mourning the dead, but their own feeling of "loss" that the person is no longer physically present for them to enjoy, while also reminding them that one day it will be them that people mourn. I have in the past suggested to those who have "lost" someone close that they could be joyful that the person has successfully completed their mission on Earth and now reunited with pre-deceased relatives enjoying a life far better than it ever could be on Earth. The remarks usually had the opposite affect, and I was accused of being unsympathetic etc. I have only ever been to one funeral and people thought I was not sad and mournful enough - actually I was very happy for the person who had transitioned. As Jesus said - "let the dead bury their dead". These are some of the reasons why I have written extensively, including several chapters in my book, about the true, nature of death, the transition to the Astral and what to expect, the Astral realms etc.. I also wrote about Astral Projection, OBE etc to show people that they could experience "life after death" while still here on Earth to prove for themselves that life continues beyond the limitations and confines of the physical body. This is also a reason I founded this very forum 23 years ago, during which time I hope it has helped many people overcome fear of death, and to prove it for themselves.

I was thinking about randomness and how people typically think that things happen to them, but they don't know exactly how. They think it's all randomness, accidents, chance, luck or lack.
Quantum physics suggests otherwise per the observer effect. We happen to things, not the other way around.
In addition our experiences in the non-physical also support this notion. Everything is a precise orchestration, and randomness is a true illusion. We keep aligning to every frame according to how our expression perceives itself at that moment. Every frame exists (infinite number). How stories are formed? By moving our focus from frame to frame to frame to frame... and create a motion picture. A very unique motion picture, with no other alike. The order we chose to assemble the frames is also infinite, that's why there are infinite versions of each expression. We as focus can align to any frame and become that version. There is no linearity. We become different versions the moment we change frames. And that can happen every second (per our time perception). Frames are static (timelessness), and in order for us to experience movement and a story we have to keep changing our focus. The structure of existence/the frames never change. But they can be experienced in infinite number of ways, and that's how creation is in a state of becoming, experiencing itself from infinite points of view. 

If there was a true randomness, then creation would have no unconditional love as a fundament nor intelligence. If energy is energy, then the fundamental laws apply to everything, regardless how they may be perceived via various simulations.

Randomness and chaos cannot possibly exist, otherwise the entire Universe would collapse in an instant. The Universe, The All, is immutable and Eternally Perfect, in the Now. Therefore as you say LB, randomness and chaos are an illusory aspect of the simulation as a whole. Similarly, "accidents", "chance", "luck" etc. are an equally illusory projection of the ego mind. And again, as we have discussed previously here, everything, everyone and every event is Perfect, as they begin, end and are sustained by Perfection - it is ALL of Source, God.

I wrote a long article many years ago about how humans experience their environment and events, I won't reproduce the entire article here but basically it is all about a mind projected interplay between the conscious and subconscious spheres of the mind and sensory inputs of the five physical senses, which together produce the illusion that everything is solid, material, tangible etc. Of course, as we have often discussed, it is all an illusion, or simulation originating from the personal and collective projections of the mind, the persistency of which is determined by thoughts, feelings and emotions and strength of belief. In the article I called this an "Experiential Loop" in accordance with the "Principle of Expression".  I like quantum mechanics, and in particular "superposition" as a  model for this, as LB mentioned, the "observer effect", whereby something only appears to exist in the moment it is observed, and when the observation is withdrawn, energy reverts back from nominal particle form back to native waveform. Also, we hear people speak of such erroneous topics as "multiverses", "parallel universes" "timelines" etc., none of which can possibly exist, except as an illusion. From the quantum perspective of superposition, we live in a Universe of infinite possibilities. If something can be imagined, then it already exists  When Mind focusses on an imagined possibility the quantum potential first becomes a probability, and with sustained focus backed by belief becomes experience. When the focus is withdrawn, it dissipates back to native waveform This is much more apparent for example in the Astral which is at a much higher vibratory frequency. And yes, there is and can be no linearity or sequentiality, therefore timelines, past lives, reincarnation cannot and do not exist.

I absolutely agree with your observations LB. It reminded me of a scene from The Matrix movie, where Morpheus was being interrogated by agent Smith, who shared with him the following:

"Did you know that the first Matrix was designed to be a perfect human world. Where none suffered. Where everyone would be happy. It was a disaster. No one would accept the program. Entire crops were lost. Some believed that we lacked the programming language to describe your perfect world. But I believe that as a species, human beings define their reality through misery and suffering. The perfect world would dream that your primitive cerebrum kept trying to wake up from. Which is why the Matrix was redesigned to this, the peak of your civilization."

How often, for example, do we hear the expression - "It's too good to be true"? This is exactly the sort of attitude described by agent Smith. The "primitive cerebrum" to which he referred is more aptly a reference to the ego. It is the ego which constantly seeks to hold people in a state of fear, guilt, doubt, materialism and in particular, illusion of separation, all of which are diametrically opposite to Love. This is why ultimately the sole purpose on Earth, and the Astral, for Spiritual progression, is to fully transcend the influence of the ego, to become one with Unconditional Love.

Humanity as a whole is exactly where it needs to be in this moment. There are those who will liberate themselves from the Matrix, this simulation, to progress Spiritually towards Unconditional Love, those who stand still, and those who regress during the concurrent incarnation.  A very positive if not powerful step towards progression is to completely switch off the so called "news" in all its guises and forms, as well as all other such negative media based on fear including, but not limited to, TV shows, movies, violent video games and negative people, and to begin focussing on only uplifting, higher vibration experiences. This is not only positive for Spiritual progression, the primary reason people are here on Earth, but also for overall mental wellbeing. I suggest that those who are drawn to and feel unable to disengage from the "news", and other forms of gross negativity, may benefit from some serious introspection, and ask themselves as to why that is, how does it serve, what benefit is derived from it, how does it make you feel - uplifted?, hopeful?, depressed?, fearful? , hopeless? - and how does it affect overall wellbeing. Of course, during daily life, there will be negative people encountered, but which may be viewed as a test, specifically, whether to engage with them, or to simply acknowledge and observe the person as if viewing an actor in a movie, thinking of it as an interesting experience, before promptly forgetting about it completely as if it never happened, which is actually true. We create, express, project our own Universe, experience, the only one that matters at a personal level, as opposed those depicted on a TV screen by other actors in the drama.

Certainly a wonderful idea LB. Anything uplifting that distracts people from all the mind projected simulated drama in the world must be very positive and welcome.

I have long been advising here and elsewhere to completely switch off the so called "news" in all its forms, which is nothing less than mass propagation of fear as a means of control, and to suppress individual progress to higher vibration. Much more can be said, but does not need to be said, except that we create and are are responsible for our own reality, our own experience, with no need whatsoever to become emotionally involved in the dramas created by others, which is entirely for their own experience.

Haven't watched the video, but it is absolutely true that "insistence creates resistance". When impressing the subconscious mind to express a desire to be experienced, including AP/OBE, insistence implies doubt, fear of failure etc., both of which will absolutely guarantee failure. Impressing the subconscious mind for success requires immediately letting go and trusting the Universe to harmoniously deliver in due course,

As for this persistent doctrine of "past lives", reincarnation etc., it seems to be firmly rooted across most religions, spiritual traditions and personal human experience, spanning many millennia, due to the persistent illusion of the experience of "time", so people simply accept it as true, along with the equally erroneous idea of "karma".  It is really very simple - the illusion of space and time are a projection of the beliefs of the personal and collective human mind, which in turn will make time seem real - like all such persistent illusions. The truth is, there is and can be no "time" or "space" because the universe of All that Is only has its existence in the Eternal Moment of Now,  therefore ideas of "past lives", "reincarnation", "coming back for another life" and so on, along with "karma", have no basis in fact whatsoever.

As Adrian says, customer service is a lottery, you never know who's going to walk in! It's part of the job. I'm not dissatisfied with my work, but it has its challenges, four receptionists quit in one month LOL. And I was wondering why. But my bosses have defended me, given me coffee and chocolates, and every day people compliment me on my kindness and treatment, my mind is at peace, and I feel good.

Well it might be helpful to think of every person walking through the door of the hotel as having been sent by the Universe, God, as an opportunity for you to progress Spiritually, in accordance with  your own perception, thoughts, feelings and actions. Therefore, I would suggest welcoming each each stranger equally, which I am sure you do already, with Love and Gratitude to God for sending them to you, no matter how they outwardly behave - they are still expressions of God. And yes, observe as a movie without engaging, but always with Love.
