    * I'm finding that the energy bouncing in my legs causes various leg muscles to twitch. It definitely feels like something is changing when I do this.

This happens to me as well. Whenever I start doing leg work, random muscles start twitching in different spots throughout the exercise. It's distracting because I'm not sure If it's my muscles responding to the energy work, or if I'm actually tensing my muscles accidentally because I'm focusing so much on the specific area. (I'm pretty sure I'm not tensing, but it's hard to tell sometimes  :-D)

I'm still having trouble clearing my mind.

No matter how relaxed I get, that little voice in my head keeps talking every now and then  :-(

haha.

I just got done day 5's exercises as well.

My feet didn't feel as if they were on fire, but definitely some strong tingling in my feet.  :-D

I noticed after my first energy work session on my arms that my forearms were a bit red...but it hasn't happened since.

There was a point today where the darkness I typically see with my closed eyes got brighter and became a more pure/solid color. That was pretty interesting but as soon as I focused on it, it slipped away. I felt a little different when that happened, but it's hard to describe other than using the word "good" or "peaceful".

This same thing happened to me today as well.

I was laying down and concentrating on my breathing, and doing some energy stimulation in my feet. (day 3 of the program) After about 30 minutes I got into a good trance state and as soon as I did, I felt my consciousness suddenly "shift". It was like my consciousness fell away form my body for a split second (almost like when you nod off to sleep but catch yourself, only I was fully aware of it happening) As soon as this "shift" happened I got very noticeable falling sensations rush through my body. As soon as the shift happened though, I noticed it, and then lost the feelings. This happened another 2 times over a period of about 15 minutes.

so hopefully that means I'm making progress

So just say I usually go to bed at 1am.

For this method to work, am I supposed to set the alarm for say... 1:30am, then 2:10am, then 2:30am, etc?

When you guys project, do you sit in a chair or lay down?

Do you guys find one position is better/ easier to project from than the other?

I've just started the 90 guide as well.

I'm on day 3 :-D

the furthest I've come so far is being able to relax myself to the point where I can barely feel my body, I have a slight off balance feeling, and I can feel slight surging sensations.

Clearing my mind is definitely the hardest part so far...everytime I finally start getting into the right state of mind I'll think about it, which ruins it.

All I can manage to do now after 45 minutes is relax myself to the point where I can barely feel my body, I have a slight off balance feeling, and slight surging sensations.

I've only just started a few days ago though, so I'm not expecting to experience too much this early on.

I don't think I've gotten to the vibrations yet.

Like today, I was focusing on my breathing, relaxing and try to clear my mind as much as possible. (I almost drifted off to sleep a few times but caught myself)
Then I would do some energy work like energy bounces, etc.

I felt a lot of sensations from doing the energy work, but that's as far as I get.  :?

In Robert Bruce's Astral Dynamics, he talks briefly about side effects like "temporary swellings,
lumps, rashes, and even small watery blisters."

I was wondering, have any of you experienced any of these side effects? If so, describe what it was?

So I just started getting into astral projection and OBE recently. I've been reading a few books and so far I've just been trying to learn to focus on my breathing, clearing my mind, and trying to feel the vibrations.

I just ended one session about 10 minutes ago, and I think I may have had some progress, but I'm not sure. I was lying down, focusing on my breathing and trying to clear my mind for about 15-20 minutes.

I then started to try to visualize myself in "Falling scenarios" to try to give myself the falling sensations some say bring on the vibrations. They didn't make a noticeable effect, except It felt as though my consciousness shift a little bit. It was like my mind didn't seem to be in the right place anymore, Like it was a bit to  the left of where it normally was. It's really hard to explain.

I then started to visualize and object 6 feet away from my face, and moving up and down in a rhythmic pattern. After a few minutes of this I started to notice different sensations. Like I was actually getting the falling sensations automatically, and my heart started beating extremely fast and hard. It was like I could feel my heart pounding in my head and my body.

...And that's as far as I got for that session. So I was wondering if this seems like the early stages of vibrations?

Also, I was wondering if it's bad to open your eyes and get up in the middle of a session?

I've been reading Robert Peterson's Out Of Body Experiences, and I'm currently Chapter 24: How To Have an Out-Of-Body Experience, but I have a question.

I'm reading step 4, which is "Visualize the object." In previous steps, they have you relax, clear your mind and then "visualize a small object, such as a small cube, about six feet directly in front of your face. Visualize this as clearly as you can. Don't continue until you can see this object clearly in your mind's eye."

My question is, are you supposed to visualize the object as you would see it if you had your eyes opened from your point of view,

or

are you supposed to visual it from a 3rd person point of view, and your looking at yourself from another point in the room with the object above your head?

(This is a picture from the book, which is a good example of the 3rd person point of visualization I'm talking about. )
