Found it on a site which I lost....  or did I loose it really? I had it all along I reckon´ ;)     I found it very beautyful anyhow, and I feel the power in it !!

The Great Way;

The Great Way is not difficult
for those who have no preferences.
When love and hate are both absent
everything becomes clear and undisguised.
Make the smallest distinction, however,
and heaven and earth are set infinitely apart.
If you wish to see the truth
then hold no opinions for or against anything.
To set up what you like against what you dislike
is the disease of the mind.
When the deep meaning of things is not understood
the mind's essential peace is disturbed to no avail.

*

The Way is perfect like vast space
where nothing is lacking and nothing is in excess.
Indeed, it is due to our choosing to accept or reject
that we do not see the true nature of things.
Live neither in the entanglements of outer things,
nor in inner feelings of emptiness.
Be serene in the oneness of things
and such erroneous views will disappear by themselves.
When you try to stop activity to achieve passivity
your very effort fills you with activity.
As long as you remain in one extreme or the other
you will never know Oneness.
Those who do not live in the single Way
fail in both activity and passivity,
assertion and denial.
To deny the reality of things
is to miss their reality;
to assert the emptiness of things
is to miss their reality.
The more you talk and think about it,
the further astray you wander from the truth.
Stop talking and thinking,
and there is nothing you will not be able to know.
To return to the root is to find the meaning,
but to pursue appearances is to miss the source.
At the moment of inner enlightenment
there is a going beyond appearance and emptiness.
The changes that appear to occur in the empty world
we call real only because of our ignorance.
Do not search for the truth;
only cease to cherish opinions.

*

Do not remain in the dualistic state;
avoid such pursuits carefully.
If there is even a trace
of this and that, of right and wrong,
the Mind-essence will be lost in confusion.
Although all dualities come from the One,
do not be attached even to this One.
When the mind exists undisturbed in the Way,
nothing in the world can offend,
and when a thing can no longer offend,
it ceases to exist in the old way.

When no discriminating thoughts arise,
the old mind ceases to exist.
When thought objects vanish,
the thinking-subject vanishes.
Things are objects because of the subject;
the mind is such because of things.
Understand the relativity of these two
and the basic reality: the unity of emptiness.
In this Emptiness the two are indistinguishable
and each contains in itself the whole world.
If you do not discriminate between coarse and fine
you will not be tempted to prejudice and opinion.

*

To live in the Great Way
is neither easy nor difficult,
but those with limited views
are fearful and irresolute;
the faster they hurry, the slower they go,
and clinging cannot be limited;
even to be attached to the idea of enlightenment
is to go astray.
Just let things be in their own way,
and there will be neither coming nor going.

*

Obey the nature of things [your own nature],
and you will walk freely and undisturbed.
When thought is in bondage the truth is hidden,
for everything is murky and unclear,
and the burdensome practice of judging
brings annoyance and weariness.
What benefits can be derived
from distinctions and separations?
If you wish to move in the One Way,
do not dislike even the world of senses and ideas.
Indeed, to accept them fully
is identical with true Enlightenment.
The wise man strives to no goals
but the foolish man fetters himself.
There is one Dharma, not many;
distinctions arise
from the clinging needs of the ignorant.
To seek Mind with the mind
is the greatest of all mistakes.

*

Rest and unrest derive from illusion;
with enlightenment there is no liking and disliking.
All dualities come from ignorant inference.
They are like dreams or flowers in the air:
foolish to try to grasp them.
Gain and loss, right and wrong:
such thoughts must finally be abolished at once.

*

If the eye never sleeps,
all dreams will naturally cease.
If the mind makes no discriminations,
the ten thousand things
are as they are, of single essence.
To understand the mystery of this One-essence
is to be released from all entanglements.
When all things are seen equally
the timeless Self-essence is reached.
No comparisons or analogies are possible
in this causeless, relationless state.

Consider movement stationary
and the stationary in motion:
both movement and rest disappear.
When such dualities cease to exist
Oneness itself cannot exist.
To this ultimate finality
no law or description applies.

*

For the unified mind in accord with the Way
all self-centered striving ceases.
Doubts and irresolutions vanish
and life in true faith is possible.
with a single stroke we are freed from bondage;
nothing clings to us and we hold to nothing.
All is empty, clear, self-illuminating,
with no exertion of the mind's power.
Here thought, feeling, knowledge, and imagination
are of no value.
In this world of Suchness
there is neither self nor other-than-self.

*

To come directly into harmony with this reality
just simply say when doubt arises, 'Not two.'
In this 'not two' nothing is separate,
nothing is excluded.
No matter when or where,
enlightenment means entering this truth.
And this truth is beyond extension or diminution in time or space;
in it a single thought is ten thousand years.

*

Emptiness here, Emptiness there,
but the infinite universe stands
always before your eyes.
Infinitely large and infinitely small:
no difference, for definitions have vanished.
and no boundaries are seen.
So too with Being and non-Being.
Don't waste time in doubts and arguments
that have nothing to do with this.

*

One thing, all things:
move among and intermingle,
without distinction.
To live in this realization
is to be without anxiety about non-perfection.
To live in this faith is the road to non-duality,
because the non-dual is one with the trusting mind.

*

Words!
The Way is beyond language,
for in it there is
    no yesterday
         no tomorrow
              no today.

Welcome to Astral Chat! / "Spiritual Eco-Village"
October 02, 2002, 04:55:15
Hey, wow, it´s been a long time since I´ve been here, glad to see so many old ones still going strong, and so many new ones - this place is as active as ever......  anyways, we´re a couple of individuals up here in Sweden, thinking of creating a "Spiritual Eco Village"...  you can check out the website launched pretty recently at http://ekoby.paranormal.se/index.en.html (also check out this place in Italy, EXTRAORDINARY!!: http://www.damanhur.org)
Not all can yet be viewed in english but that will be taken care of rather soon mesa thinx...
Well, what I am wondering is if any of you have knowledge of "places like this" in your home country/surroundings, perhaps you know someone involved or who knows, you may have firsthand knowledge of any sort??

Could you imagine living in such a place? Ideas? Name for such a village/place? etc. etc.
Speak up, and you´ll make me/us happy =)

  Take care, L&L //Rikard

But I'm not sure about the authenticity of this information.

Welcome to Healing discussions! / Cancer
November 14, 2002, 09:55:38
Hi Rikard,

I would like to share my story with you and the others here at the forum. I'm afraid I can't help you out with any successful alternative healing methods to cure cancer, because those I've tried haven't helped.
I was 14 years old when I got diagnosed with a pituitary tumour (hypofys-tumör in swedish) and it's not a benign cancer, but still a pain in the ***. For the last ten years  I've tried three different medications and have been through one surgery without success. Now I'm scheduled for a second surgery in about one week and after this one, I will get radiation therapy every day for about five weeks to completely remove the tumour. I know this feels really hard, but I also sense there is a "higher meaning" with all this, although I'm not completely aware of what it might be yet. But I think the answer will come in the future. However, this illness has helped me develop a lot spiritually, mentally and so on.
I know you´re interested in obe's and I haven't told you, that the first one I got (that really intense one) was shortly after my first surgery. I think it was some kind of result from the surgery as they removed part of  the tumour (which actually is blocking a chakra?!) "the third eye" was opened since it's a pituitary (hypofys) tumour. Also the "narkos" (I don't know the english word, sorry!) could have made me more open to the astral world maybe? Therefore I feel that after this second surgery maybe my experiences and obe:s will return, and maybe I will get some more information and knowledge.
Alternative healing methods: I've tried zonetherapy, "kinesolog", different herbs and so on. I've heard that acupuncture may be good as well. But It all depends on where the cancer is located, I guess.

Well, Good Luck and please feel free to write or ask me whatever you want. I'm sorry if this didn't help you out that much but I still felt I wanted to share my story with you.

Love and Light,
Zebrima (Nettie)

Hi Qui-Gon Jinn,
I had been instructed by the spiritual being who was aslo my teacher to fast at least two hours before attempting to leave my body. It was also explained that the raw vegetable and fruit diet was necessary to gain and keep my clarity during my out of body experiences. I questioned and doubted this often, now I have proved to mysef that this is true, and important.

Welcome to Astral Chat! / The Law of One

i don think all are one, however I do believe that all come from the one, everything from one source so maybe to that extent we are all one. However we are all capable of independant decisions and actions. Its a tough one

Obe's are the work of the devil.....

The first two are easy for me. It is the third which stops me every time. No matter how vividly I imagine being somewhere outside of my body, even just extending hands to climb rope, my awareness remains stronger within my body. Maybe there is something about exteriorizing awareness which I have been misunderstanding.

HI Qui-Gon Jinn,

Having found myself on a mountaintop (LD during a nap), I was approached by three teenaged boys. They asked me if I would speak for them. Looking intently at each one of them and noticing their demeanor I told them that I worked for the Prime Creator, and quickly came back to my body. The leader was rather roughish (I thought), and one was quiet, and the third looked guilty and uncomfortable. I asked the higher realm angels to take care of them.

When I met the being who took me to the higher heavens to school, I was wary. She looked like a beautiful little girl, but later changed into a large ball of luminenesence (truly beautiful). She said she had not wanted to frighten me, so she appeared as a little girl. When she introduced me to the school administrator, a regular guy in a gray business suit, I asked him if he worked for the Prime Creator.
He replied: "His light shines on all who are here."  Some of the student shone with a light from their bodies extending some six to eight inches away from themselves. My second teacher there was a light being, that is I saw a pillar of white light about the size of a normal person, with apparent arms, legs and head, but I could not see actual features for the bright light coming off the being. I could not tell if it was a "he" or a "she" even. I did give him/her a hug once, and there was a solid human form there. This teacher told us that the closer we came to the Prime Creator the more we too would gain light.
So in questioning the spirits you may or may not get a straight truth, ya just have to watch them for a while.
Have you met someone in the realms who you are concerned about?

Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / "Confused"...
October 07, 2002, 05:47:52
Seems this projecting businesss is like bowling. When you don't know anything about the "proper" way you succeed astonishingly well but once you start trying to do it intentionally and with some technique things degenerate quickly. Trying is the key word in my opinion or rather trying too much.

I think that even though it seems the goal recedes further and further into the horizon it may well be that it's only an illusion. We learn but it doesn't manifest the way most other things do. Personally I've made a couple of breakthroughs only recently and after banging my head against the learning curve for longer than I thought I could persevere.

Welcome to Astral Chat! / Not to devalue "PPSD"...
October 02, 2002, 06:00:31
I agree with you. But for some people I guess it is just very hard to overcome beliefs that have been instilled in them. I know I still have a hard time with some things that I was taught and brought up into. So maybe protection is best for them for now. But I believe that nothing can really hurt you, so there is really no point. It is better to face whatever it is you encounter, try to understand it, and deal with it. I think most things that people feel they need to sheild themself from is really just parts of their personality manifesting that they need to deal with. This is my opinion and I mean no disrespect to others or their ideas.

As for individual souls, from what you have stated there is no such thing. If all are one then there is no true individual. I tend to believe that we are all connected, but at certain levels we are individuals. As we move up in the planes we get closer to being one, until at the very top all is one.

Hello Qui- I have indeed seen what I believe was an UFO.

Growing up my family often took vacations (holidays) up in nothern Vermont. If you haven't been to Vermont, the entire state consists of only pine trees and mountains, mixed with the occasional cow or 2. Now me growing up in the city of Boston, Vermont was a great escape from people, traffic and noise. Now one summer night while we were vacationing there, I went for a walk. I walked through a nearby school yard and took a seat on a bench. A few minutes went by and a stranger sat down next to me and we started talking for a while. I was admiring the thousands of stars that were visible in the vast countryside, when I saw what I first though was the lights of and airplane flying very high up. Now, you know that the higher up in the sky a plane is flying, the slower it seems to move from our view on the ground. From the lights on this "object", I could tell it was several thousand feet in the air, moving first just like a plane- steady in one direction. Just as I though "Oh- a plane" the direction changed sharply 90o, went straight that way for a bit, changed another 90o and was making a square path in the sky! I though I was nuts, so I ask the stranger I'm talking with if he sees it too. We look up and this thing is all over the place- going North, then East, North again, then South. He sees it too and is as dumbfounded as I am. After a few minutes it left quickly in one direction, and we didn't see it again. Whatever it was, it wasn't something that is in the general knowlage of society today.

Hi QGJ

I've allready posted pretty much all my involvements in OBE,so I wont bore you with repeating it.But it happened to me young about 6 & could have been any one or a combination of all which did it.I know I had a NDE when I was 6
but a few other things equaled that in terms of OBE's.It was very hard growing up in a Catholic/Christian family knowing what I knew, but being told otherwise.I,m not sure if any of the great men who are worshipped or revered wanted to mass produce churches, temples or whatever in their name or for their cause,I,m pretty sure they just wanted to pass on the message to try what they were saying for themselves,a way of life, not a buisness.

I feel lucky to be alive & am grateful for what I have & what I can do,with my physical body & my etheric/astral body. You might have to be more specific with your question as volumes could be written by any one of us on any topic you mentioned in your post. (Ok thats just an excuse for,I,m tired,my back is sore & I want to lay down)

Good journeys mate, may the BBQ sauce be with you.

Hi Qui-don Jim
I have had many a astral battle. It involves skill and a little bit of thinking.
1. You can assume any shape and do any weapon you want. This includes vanishing.
2.You can change where you are fighting to any level. You can weaken any astral wildlife that attacks you by moving to a high vibration level with more positive vibes. It will normally drop off and dissolve
3. You have a choice to just move to another level to disappear if you don't feel like fighting.
4. The most valuable rule I learned from the book the Five Rings by a Japanese samurai. Never do what your attacker expects you to do.

Greetings Qui-Gon Jinn!

quote:

Hey, I just have a lil thing to say, not that it is a major deal, but when you post a new topic for example...  and you write a long half-an-hour post, and you forget to name the posts topic at the top..  then you get a message saying there was an error or something, and you can click on a link to get you backwards and fill in the topics name, the things is - all you wrote is erased. I got the same result when hitting the back button...  of course when not forgetting this it´s no problems and it really is the typers fault, but still, it´s kinda annoying when putting alot of time into a post and then it all gets erased if you forget to for example type the topic....  all the best //Qui-Gon

I agree that this is frustrating!

But that is the way the forums are, and it would be alot of development to get around that one.

One thing I would advise everyone to do, especially with a long post, is to copy the text of your message to your clipboard every so often. You can do this by positioning your mouse at the beginning of the text, holding down your left mouse button, and dragging down to highlight the text of the message. While the text is highlighted, you can then do a "CTRL-C" (control and c) to copy the text to the clipboard. If you ever need to do the message again, simply place the mouse cursor in the message box, and do a "CTRL-V" (control and v) to copy the text from the clipboard to the message box.

With best regards,

Adrian.

That's a really good question Qui-Gon, I remember RB saying that and I was surprised at the 'strength' of his suggestion. I never thought of that when I read this new technique of focusing on brow center to project. I'll be interested to see his answer as well...

Welcome to Energy Body and The Chakras / Energy?
April 06, 2002, 10:51:11
I have noticed this since first grade. I'm 31 now. I remember playing outside with the class, playing some game, and I was kind of daydreaming, staring out into the sky. It's like a kind of pulsing thing, I guess, it's like when you don't focus on anything, just gaze out at nothing in the sky. Mine don't move slowly, kind of a fast, pulsing, throbbing kind of thing.
I told my mother about this, not knowing anything, just being a kid, she took me to the doctor and they ran tests on my eyes, everything fine. I think maybe everyone is like this, but no one really notices, they never really thought of it, I guess. I don't know. I need to read up more of Robert's site, maybe it has something to do with reading auras. Either way, I know exactly what you're talking about and it is kind of nice to see someone else has noticed it.

Can you direct me to any information on this technique cos I think I might try it. Thanks.

WHOA!     That's a scary thought, man.  I've often thought of that.   What if one of my friends is projecting and watching me right here in the shower.....   Of course, I don't let it bother me too much but what if the government did employ projecters as spys???     Very interesting....

This means 2 things:
They can see us naked . . . AND . . .
That brings up a lot of new job possibilities for people in this forum!

First off, I agree with you totally as to the value of Robert's
work.  It is the first really valuable no-nonsense and
straightforward guide that I have ever seen or read.  The techniques
he has developed are very logical, well thought out and well
founded in his investigations.  Believe me, they are totally
workable.  I had my very first conscious exit projection a matter
of weeks ago using his techniques step by step.

When I use the rope technique, I am already in a very relaxed state
(very very important), have the thoughts cleared and am very focused.
You will know when you have reached the right state as you will
have strong vibrations and a sense of fluctuations in your whole
body.  It's an amazing feeling.

What happens then is a sensation of a steady pressure over all of
my limbs, chest and head that is pulling me up.  This is usually
accompanied by a hard to describe, almost flickering, sense like
I'm quickly alternating between two places at once.  It was at this
point that about a week ago I was literally able to see through
closed eyelids for the first time!

Unfortunately, that's when I also get some strong heart center
activity which still blows my concentation.  I hope after
confronting this many times, there will be less of an impact.

Once, recently, I had this wild overwhelming pressure, had the
heart center going wild and felt like I was being buffeted by a
thousand sensations at once.  It was kind of overwhelming.  I
succeeded once to retain my focus and continue the rope technique.
The upward pressure continued and I had a sudden...well, expansion
of field-of-view and awareness that must be experienced to believe.

That kind of threw me off my game and I lost focus.  A failed attempt.
Guess my axe still needs alot of sharpening.

I became a vegan (I don't consume any animal products) for this reason. It didn't seem to really help, I'm now a raw foodist & this seems to help somewhat. You have nothing to lose by trying it & you'll definately have more WAKing energy.

On a recent Art Bell replay (from, I think, Dec 12 2001), Art
interviewed "Red Elk" a widely known spiritualist/medicine man
from some indian tribe.  He said that before a certain travel of his,
he was required to fast for 5 days and nights.  The replay is
available on Art's web site if you're interested (was replayed last
Thursday, I think).

I definetly see the validity of the statement that light sleepers can have OBE's easier.  I think we all agree that being able to relax your body while keeping your mind alert is key to seperating the spirit body from the physical, thus if one can relax his or herself and still remain awake, or on the verge of wakefullness then it should be easier for them to leave the body.

In regards to low BP, I also feel this would somehow correlate, but I will need to do some research...

Grace by grace, principle by principle, we strive for perfection.
