It's called a false awakening. You can have one or more in a row.  :-)

Yes, very interesting and also intense. Doesn't  having seen these crimes haunt you?
You seem to remember a lot of details, I wish I could.
Thanks for sharing.  :-)

Perhaps this is the same:
QuoteAccording to Robert Bruce's "Astral Dynamics", your flashes could be your 3'rd eye "getting ready" ie. trying to start up. (It feel's like a stroboscope flashing in your mind/eyes).

A while ago I started a thread about "stroboscope flashing", http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/welcome_to_out_of_body_experiences/a_new_way_of_projecting-t30282.0.html;msg245430#msg245430

Ask yourself: are they REALLY saying so different things? Or just the same (or at least similar) things are being said differently?

every experience of the non-physical dimensions (I do not just say afterlife now since I think this expression is too limiting - we also have a 'before-life", btw) is personal and very subjective, it is the case also in this world.

you see, an event witnessed with different witness accounts from different persons with different angles, moods, viewpoints, opinions, reception capabilties, memory capabilties, focus/attention spans and interests, etc... often results in a lot of very different accounts, despite it being the same event at the same time/location witnessed. That is only natural, and the same even more applies to memories from other dimensions.

still, for me, there is a lot of consistency by comparing, weighing and systematizing SUBJECTIVE and PERSONAL accounts and that is what guys like Monroe or Newton (by different methods each) do, the similatities need not be perfect, varyiing descriptions are not perfect in this world, either.

Monroe had his own accounts only first, but later at the TMI he reported that also many people had been e.g. to F27 (without manipulating their perception) and other "localities" and they described it similarly, the same applies to Newton's deep hypnosis reports of his clients, or Kurt Leland's descriptions (for example)

look at it this way: we all had our first school day and have memories of it: the first class teacher, the class mates, the reception at the aula, the celebrations going on, the parents present, the gifts you get, the first introductions,  etc pp.
still, everybody has experienced it with variations, but the PATTERN of events, organisation and locations is similar, possibly even the same.

So in the AL/NPR you likewise (and very likely) might be at a different council, a different school class (in F27) then, etc.,
also the teachers / councellors we deal with (or that deal with us) are sometimes called guides or helpers or facilitators, etc. and also received differently
Still, if we compare our experiences, we can say we all had a teacher, council, recreation place, etc...

still, all in all, in the literature, for me it is pretty similar if you compare Monroe's/Moen's F27 "institutions" with Newtons or Kurt Leland's "stages" or "places" (of healing, learning, counceling, recreation, planning, etc.)

All differences for me can be attributed to personal experience and preference of systematization and colouring of the same "afterlife reality", just like a first school day is a physical world reality in this dimension for almost every one - different, and yet "the same".
Very good point, I think you may be right. Although I haven't read Moen and Leland yet. I've read some books of 2 Dutch authors and one German. The next time I read them I will take some notes about their beliefs/experiences so I can really find and remember the differences and similarities in their descriptions.  Hmm, I have a lot of reading to do. :-)

First hint.  You're looking at a road, a path.
You were on a road, changed direction, found a dead end, course corrected, and found paydirt.  A parade with nice horses and carriage.

After finding "the right road" you let yourself be guided "someone else was driving" and you enjoyed the sights.

I would say this indicates you've been looking at different ways to do things, took a turn that didn't work for you, and then, when you allowed yourself to be guided, were rewarded with a pleasant ride along the path, and possibly interaction.
I think this has to do with guides.  I'm not sure if the 'horse' element has anything more to do with it, it might be worth looking into.

Wow, you're really good! Everything seems to fit. I also think now it has to do with guides/being guided.
I don't know either what the horses represent, but they were Frisian horses and I am also Frisian so it may be something familiar.
Thank you very much!  8-)

Congrats Timandra.
Am I the only one who sees a message in it?
Thank you CFTraveler.
You make me very curious! Please tell me what message you see in it.

Hello Grey,

QuoteI am interesting in your intent prior to phasing. Do you set an intention to phase to a specific location? Or do you try to phase into your immediate surroundings and then travel someplace else from there?
Well at the moment I have a wish to phase/project to API, but usually I just follow where my consciousness takes me. I sometimes visualize a specific place yes, but in this case I just wanted to fall asleep again.  :-D I didn't expect at all to have a phasing, the difference was that I was relaxed enough to fall asleep but I didn't, and I didn't even do my best for it!

So yes, usually I allow the images to flow and I always like where I end up, there is always something interesting to see.  :-)

These are very good results, if you just started a week ago! Just try to leave your body, rolling out to the side works very good for me. Start with it when you notice that parts of your "body" are floating out of your physical body. Good luck!

And welcome to the Astral Pulse!  :-)

Thank you Xanth, and thank you NoY!  :-)

Hi Pauli,

QuoteCan you remember anything special you did prior to the phasing?
I have a different sleeping pattern the last month, I go to bed between 2 and 2.30 am. (used to be around 23.30) And I took a Q10 pill, that are the only changes I can think of.
Oh yes, I did meditate 2 hours instead of 1. But I still do sometimes and I don't have a phasing everytime.

QuoteCould the town be some future place you will go visit
Perhaps, if the town is an existing one irl, but I think the chance that it will happen is small.

Quotethere was some kind of advice in the visuals?
I didn't have the feeling that there was.

QuoteDid you request more clarity, mobility or awareness?
No I didn't because I had enough of all three, so there was no need to. It was as clear and colourful as in my daily life.

QuoteDid there seem to be some kind of message in your phasing?
Perhaps not to worry if I still can have phasings...

Quoteor some kind of presence of someone else?
No. I didn't have the feeling that someone was close to me. :-)

Yes! I was happy because I didn't have one since November last year, I was worried that I couldn't do it anymore. Here is what happened.

I woke up in the morning but it was too early to get up, so I tried to fall asleep again. After approx. 45 min I was still awake, and suddenly saw an image. I zoomed into it and concentrated on it so I would stay there. It was a pavement in a close-up.  I was aware that I was having a phasing and was happy about it!

As I seemed to be facing downwards I tried to "get up" and see what was in front of me. Because I was a point of consciousness I couldn't just move my body/head to look in another direction. I don't remember how I did it but then I was facing straight forward and I found myself in a street with cosy terrace houses with tidy little gardens in front of them. I moved to the end of the street and turned to go into another street. That street was a dead end street so I took another direction. In front of me, at the end of that street, about 100 meters away was a broad road where there was some sort of parade. Lots of people were at both sides of the road watching it, beautiful Frisian horses with different carriages were in the parade and I watched them for a while.

I turned around once more and moved through another street which ended into a busy road with a lot of traffic. Somehow that spot seemed familiar to me at that time. Then I suddenly was at the backseat of a car! I was watching the city as we were driving and enjoyed it. Shortly after that my consciousness faded away and I was back in the physical world.

Thank you for reading, comments and questions are welcome. :-)

QuoteBut yeah, I'd advise looking at the links above. I think I'll check it out too, since I myself need to contact mine as well. Thanks, Timandra!

A while back I thought I had taken some very special photo's, with white cloudlike shapes. I thought they might be spirits. But I found out it was because I took the photo through a double-glazed window using the flash...  So the chance that's it has something to do with the camera is bigger.  I believe it can be done, but only after every other possibility has been ruled out. :-)
